I liked that the rooms had enough space for myself and my three daughters, the bathroom was big, it had AC, and the pool was nice. My girls loved it.

I did not like that. There was no rug when you enter the room. So the floor was constantly right. I went or had to make towls wet and the fact that the TV did not turn to face the beds, it was purely stuck on the wall. Instead of a swively

The room was tiny!! It was the smallest room I’ve ever seen! It was suppose to be 323 square feet and it was more like 100 square feet! Very cramped! The housekeepers do not clean very well either. Our refrigerator was very dirty and the bed sheets had stains! This room was not worth the price we paid for it! Then on top of that we had to pay $10 per day for parking! Ridiculous!! I mean if each room comes with a parking spot why am I paying to park?!

Location and pool and restaurant next to property.

When I booked, it said free on site and street booking before I confirmed. When I confirmed, with no refunds allowed, I was then informed that I had to pay for parking. Very false and misleading as the daily fee was $10.60 daily. It’s not the money, but the principle of misleading before you book to say free parking.

Staff was great we checked in and our AC didn't work the mantinece guy came tried to fix it but couldn't said they will get a new one in asap went out to breakfast the next morning got back to room after breakfast and new one was in .Pool was also ok.

No ice machine, plus they charge yo $10 a dat to park in there lot.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The shower is very nice and updated. Fresh new flooring and very comfy beds!

Leaky ceiling in the bathroom. The bed frames are plywood and scratch your leg as you get in and out of bed. TV placement on wall was kind of awkward. No blow dryer or coffee maker.

Very nice location mass of pool felt safe

Went there to check in at 12:30 a.m. there was a sign said be back in five minutes person then come back to 1 AM. I get it working overnights and I want to cover you for lunch. Just sucks you have to wait when you’re tired and I had an ant farm on the one side of my bed, killed them all scrub. The floor woke up to ants in the same spot just in one spot didn’t cry want anything didn’t get in the bed didn’t do anything just stuck in one area it was odd but I didn’t say anything to the front desk, so was my own fault

The Islander exceeded our expectations for a moderately priced motel. The location was Bayside, so it was a one block walk to the Ocean City oar walk/beach. Walking distance to food, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. Like many privately owned motels in OC, it is showing its age and would benefit from an exterior refresh

The room would benefit from an inexpensive LED plug-I light at floor level so that guests can see if they need to get up in the night without having to cut on the main light and disturbing other guests.

All the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, and seemed well kept. The location is fantastic - right in the middle of a lot of stuff!

We lost hot water on the last day. They did call us when they knew that our unit would be without hot water (the evening before we left) and tried to put us in a room that had hot water, but we weren't going to be back before the gentleman was leaving for the night. They tried to make things right, we just couldn't accommodate them. Plus, one cold shower wasn't terrible - probably helped with the hangover!

Staff was great and the location was really nice there was plenty to do close by. If you wanted to do the boardwalk be ready it is a little of a walk. We just used the tram to get back.

We had 2 rooms the 2nd room had a smell. Also you had to pay for parking not sure if that is just a new thing at all hotels or if it was just this one.

Great location in OC. Rooms are well cleaned and sanitary. Came with tv, mini fridge, and microwave. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Off street parking “included”, but parking lot is $10/day. Building is outdated and rooms appear worn, but it is clean. We just needed it to sleep so didn’t need any amenities.
