Hotel was exceptional!! When I check in, the hotel representative who check me in went above and beyond. She ask if I was here to go to Salem I said yes it’s my first time and we are driving there after checking in. She warn me it not possible to find parking space and advise me to go by train rail. The hotel rep called the train to double check what the next train and the last one that comes back. I had amazing time at Salem because of her. Next year I will be back to this hotel while visiting Salem for Halloween

I love everything

Room was clean and more spacious than I expected, bed was comfortable, I slept great, curtains keot the daylight out.

Wifi was completely and utterly worthless, I just used the hotspot on my phone and I had to make sure I didn't leave it in certain parts of the room, something in the structure blocks a lot of signal if you're standing in the wrong place. No wall mirror and having the sink and only mirror be in a narrow inlet between two walls was kinda weird and mildly inconvenient, but far from the end of the world.

The room was super spacious, vaulted ceilings were beautiful. Super clean, housekeepers were super friendly, very respectful. Great location, front and back door to the room provided access to private hotel area with tennis/basketball court and pool. Easy check in/out. Will be our new spot when we visit for sure!!

Honestly nothing I didn't like. My wife wasn't crazy about the shower head. But super minor and did not affect our stay at all.

Parking is a breeze we took our F350 Superduty and was a little concerned about parking space but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised...the rooms are huge and very nice ...TV is larger than most hotel rooms... coffee ..refrigerator and microwave in the room...we had no problems with anything😁👍

We really couldn't think of anything we didn't like...we were there during Hurricane Lee (9/23) and they called us in advance to tell us they didn't have a generator...which was no big deal to us..so if you're looking for a place to book at the last minute I think you'll like this place😁

The hotel was just what we were looking for. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. The cleaning staff was helpful and accommodating. The rooms looked newly renovated. They were airy with high ceilings and new floors. The outside patio was lovely and the grounds and the pool were lovely as well. It was a very convenient location to the beaches, the town of Gloucester and Rockport. All attractions are easily accessible by car. There is a lovely market right across the street and a big market/plaza down the road within walking distance. The price was reasonable for the area, especially compared to other hotels.

There was a problem with the room assignments. We wanted to be next to each other but there was some confusion, so I voluntarily opted for rooms that were near and that was fine. There were some problems with the keys. One room could only be accessed by the patio door (there are 2 entrances to each room). I did not want to keep going back to the office to try to fix it, so we just worked around that. The same with the wifi. We could not get it to work and tired of trying to make it work with the offie and opted to use our hot spot when necessary. I believe if we had been persistent, the staff would have been able to accommodate us, but we just did not want to invest the time.

We both LOVED the high ceilings and the floor without carpeting. We enjoy carpeting at home, but we’ve always been suspect of carpeting in hotels and motels. Good call, Captain! We also enjoyed the pool. It was a nice surprise, because staff told us it wouldn’t be open during our stay, but it was! Also, the property was in a super quiet location. The back porch was really nice to sit outside. And the organic grocery store across the street was just perfect. And the staff were all super warm and pleasant.

Bathroom door didn't close! It was stuck and impossible to close which was weird They were pacing the parking lots and kept closing one of the two entrances/exits, and you never knew which one would be open and it made parking difficult since the workers parked their trucks there and they closed the lot next to our room (142) Was hoping for more pillows, and they were super flat, and the office closes at 9, so we were out of luck when we got home at midnight

Cute place that, from the outside, is reminiscent of a retro “motor lodge”. But the interior of our room had been recently renovated and is nicely up to date. Very spacious and fairly well appointed.

The beds have very firm mattresses that may not be to everyone’s liking. They provided a good night’s sleep however.

The room was exceptionally clean, and well stocked. The office was run by a very pleasant woman who even recommended sites to see. We were also close to a Shaws for shopping and a Dunkin for coffee!!

The bed was not comfortable. But I have arthritis and I need a bit more cushioning. My husband slept fine.

It was clean, quiet. Very pleasant staff.

Ran out of toilet paper. No one to contact and no extra in the room. Lights were super bright. You should update the website to say when the pool will be open. We would have been prepared to go to the pool had the website had memorial day weekend the pool was open.
