The breakfast was plentiful with lots of fresh fruit, muffins, and bagels. My niece and I only stayed one night so we didn't take advantage of the pool but there were people in the pool and a nice patio area outside the pool room where guests were hanging out. Our room opened to the outside and was easy to get to even though we had a small flight of stairs to climb. There was enough parking close to each room, so we didn't have to search or walk far. The inner corridor between the pool and breakfast area was a little musty so I'm glad to have had the outdoor room. It was very clean with a little area for "cooking" - small fridge and microwave oven. There was an iron and hairdryer in the room and a small sitting area with two very nice comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The front desk staff were polite when we checked in. I would stay again.

My daughter and I were visiting other members of our family in Gloucester. I had stayed at the Rockport Inn previously with my husband prior to 2017 and enjoyed the stay. He passed on Jan. 27ty, 2022 and this was my first return to Cape Ann sine 2016 because of his iloness. I was born in Gloucester and my uncle Tony was the Rockport Harbormaster and a lobsterman or many years . Staying in Rockport helped us to be able to enjoy both Rockort's Bearskin Neck and places in Gloucesteer with other visiting family members stay8ing n Gloucester. We could only stay one night this time, but would consider staying hear again if we are able to come again because the location is central to the whole off Cape Ann.

Nothing, it was a great experience.

The rooms were private and spacious. We had two rooms, close together and in our own private area.

The spa was gone, and the heated pool was not very warm. The firepit was communal. There were people who were always sitting at it that we all necessarily did not want to commune with.

The entire property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained! The staff were very nice and super helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean (and that means a lot coming from me, I’m a clean freak.) I stayed for one overnight to go to the beach with my teenage daughters and 2 of her friends, and even the teen girls were raving about how adorable this place is! It’s amazingly close to beaches, grocery stores, and shopping. We wished we had booked a second night!

The only soft complaint I have is the breakfast. There was a great spread of cold items. However the only warm food was bagels and oatmeal packets. What was there was good, I just wish there was something warm for breakfast other than carbs.

A great sized room, comfy beds and a good shower. It was quiet at night time and could park our car right outside the door. I was asked by the staff member if I preferred a room upstairs or downstairs and was given a perfect one. Room was extremely clean, well decorated and tv was good too.

Breakfast was pretty basic, could do with more variety. Wasn't told at check in where breakfast was served and at what time which I think we should have been informed of. Didn't feel the staff looked very professional....would look better with more formal clothing.

Great location - 3 minute car ride / 20 minute walk from the wharf/downtown and all the little stores and restaurants. Room was pretty clean and large.

Bathroom shower/tub had a big moldy grout line (pretty gross). I was there for 7 nights and it was very challenging to get them to clean the room and get me towels during the stay. Breakfast is pretty lame - more like a 7-eleven type of cold breakfast (packaged pastries and bagels instead of fresh stuff), some fresh fruit, coffee, etc, and a bowl of boiled eggs. Definately not worth being included in the room price (i would prefer to pay less for the room and hsve no bteakfast). Staff was not very friendly - they come across as if i was a burden, and they were doing me a favor to talk to me ($1500 stay, lol)

Very clean. Large rooms, not far from downtown Rockport

There is a huge step up in front of each room in the area we were situated . A person or child could easily trip or fall trying to enter the room from parking lot. They could use a railing or handle to hold onto so you can hoist your self into the room. We grabbed the frame to hold on as we entered the room. An elderly person or someone with mobility issues would have problems trying to get from the parking lot into there room. Once inside the room was perfect

Great location. Close to town. Nice decor. Little area with books and games to borrow. Comfortable room. Great pool. Lovely fire pit area (too bad it wasn't on). Staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast area was a nice grab and go selection. Absolutely would stay again!

Didn't notice an elevator. Got a little lost but not too bad, but would help if there was signage, like the room number ones, to the pool, lobby, etc. The pool said there was a spa, perhaps a hot tub but we couldn't find any. Perhaps seasonal?

I liked that it was private and didn't feel like a hotel. The rooms were nice, and the area was bigger than expected. They even extended our stay by an extra night with no issues or hassle.

I didn't like that during the 5 nights stay the house keeping staff never came to our room. I did see them around, but I guess they only cleaned early in the mornings or when guests were leaving.

The setting was so nice, like being in a beautifully landscaped, ranch-style resort. We loved having our own outside entry--no hallways. Everything on one level. Parking was easy and plentiful. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! (They happily allowed us to use the Breakfast room several times for family to gather for pizza and football!) Breakfast was continental, not much protein but very nice options. Pool and fire pit area were great for family to gather! Loved our stay!

Wi-Fi could have been a bit faster, but that's it!
