The place is spotless!! Amazing location with parking while you stay. Staff was so awesome. Jay was always Manning the door for the club (onsite price included while you stay) so welcoming and fun. He was superior.. The beautiful bartender with a unique name I don't want to hack, welcomed us with friendly fun conversation and nice poured cocktails. Did I mention spotless! Party in house till 1am(awesome if you party) which we do. Walk down to lobby 730am looks like there were never 200 people there. It's an amazing place to stay if you wanted to experience Club life without leaving the property. There's also a nice place next door I believe has no cover we didn't go. We had the fourth floor towards the back of the house and we were grateful since one night I did not feel well and even though you could hear the music from the club it wasn't too bad.

The only issue we had was being woken up after parting all night to sun shine blaring in our windows. There are no blackout Shades nor curtains just basic White where the lights shines through. Cranky start. If you like to go to bed early or you like to rise late just be aware the club is open till 1:00 and you can hear it throughout the house. And if you have a room like ours you'll be woken early by the Sun.

Location was great; also the bar/club was nice and cost included a free pass to it. Parking was close and reasonable. The room was nice with a great view.

The room was on the 3rd floor and the very top staircase was very steep and narrow. It was in the ‘annex’ so maybe the other rooms are nicer/cleaner in the main house. We felt far from everyone else— even some staff didn’t know where to direct us to find our room initially. Also, there is no pool or hot tub, nor restaurant, but there are plenty close by, including a beach club with pool.

Gifford House is a wonderful property! Centrally located, great staff, wonderful, comfortable stay. The bed was a king size, luxurious rest and the pillows were incredibly soft yet supportive. The bathroom was nice size and the shower worked well with plenty of water. Best of all, there were plenty of outlets in the room. Hallelujah! The room I was in was spacious, super clean, and a joy to stay in. I felt safe, and well taken care of

The property has no elevator, and understandably it is a historic building, but that didn't make my 2 flight climb with a suitcase pleasant... But I did understand. One change is to place coffee makers and safes in the room, iny opinion that's the only thing I would change

Very central and close to shops, restaurants and bars! Also has its own bar, lounge and club! If you are a gay man this place is for you! As a group of two lesbians, 1 gay and a straight we still had an amazing time! Staff is friendly and place is decorated very nice! The artwork in the room was a special touch and had us laughing and smiling

Parking is limited! First come first serve so otherwise you may struggle a bit to find some! We were fine but just as a warning to others

+ great location, very central Provincetown, easy access and easy to go to the main PTown viewpoints. + great crew, very friendly, helpful and listening, both for check-in or special request. They provide beach towels and sunscreen, as well as free coffee, water and other small stuff in the morning. Very well run and feels like a very friendly inn, similar to a family-run business (not your cold big anonymous hotel). The building itself is a very well preserved New England house with lots of charm. + good comfort overall. The room is accurate to picture. I was staying in the Annex, that you access from the patio instead of the main lobby. The room has an AC, a little fridge, a desk with a TV, and a comfortable enough queen size bed. Bathroom and bedroom felt very clean, renovated, and "elegantly" furnished. Despite the seemingly old age of the building, it does not show at all. + If you come for the events, they are much fun and some would turn the main living-room into a cabaret-like space that just feels special.

- the windows have blinders and not curtains, so be aware that you can not have a blackout in the room. Not necessarily a big deal if you're used to it, but you will have morning daylight coming quite in your room. - be aware that the inn hosts some parties in the afternoon (5-9pm) and/or night (9pm-1am) during some weeks/days in summer. I was staying at the inn precisely for the events going on, but you may want to check their schedule, otherwise you can end up with undesired noise at some evening/night hours.

Gifford House is a fun place to stay and possibly the best location for PTown. Be aware that it is not a sleepy, quiet B&B during the theme weeks. We went during the 4th of July week and had a blast. The room was clean and comfortable, service friendly and the on-site bars were excellent.

We are big men so we get hot, the HVAC didn't always keep the room as cold as we would like.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at Gifford House. The Bash party July 2 was out of this world! The purgatory space was pure heaven for me. Probably the best club I've ever been to and one of the best nights of my life! The entire staff was outstanding and went above and beyond to create an incredible experience all night long. I highly recommend this place!

The location is perfect. The shower was exceptional. The antique furniture was spectacular. The Porch Bar was vibrant due to the Frolic Weekend Events at the Inn. The Singer/ Piano Player was amazing. .

There were a lot of steps to manage with luggage

Very clean and well decorated room, the bathroom was impeccable. I loved how every detail in the room was thought out to provide the best possible accommodation. Comfortable bed. No unpleasant smells.

some guests talking loudly in the hallways at 3am. but I understand that it is not the property's fault, considering it was a party weekend.
