Parking was right in front of the unit; location just 7 minutes to Marquette; the room was very clean with a few nice amenities (free snacks, coffee and tea, shower and shampoo products); bed comfortable with nice linens; reading lamps by both sides of the bed; two small shelving units for storage, a small table and two chairs; keypad “contactless” entry. The “community” concept is a nice one: an island with Adirondack chairs and games in the parking area, and bike storage near the entrance. Two small concerns were readily fixed through a call or email to the manager.

I was surprised at the required online security screening as there was no hint on the website of this unique requirement.

North Coast Place is an exceptional lodging located in the burg of Harvey within 5 miles of the City of Marquette. It is very clean providing luxury bamboo linens and paper products and environmentally friendly bath products. The room was very clean, the bed quite comfortable and we did not hear our neighbors. The facility provides a fire pit for fires and a few outdoor games and places to store bicycles. North Coast is with out a front desk staff, but are quick to respond to text messages. There is no breakfast, however, you make up for that with the lower cost for a night's stay.

North coast place is amazing, very clean ,quite, and comfortable.

We just loves everything about it, it was covenant to everything we wanted to do. It is one of the cleanest places we have every stayed. I will say it's a great space but if your a large person you might find it a bit tight between the bed and the bathroom. To us it was no big deal, I would recommend this property to anyone and we def plan to stay again in the feature.

It is located a short drive from Marquette, but on the side closer to Munising, making it a reasonable place to stay to access both locations! Check in was easy, staff was friendly (I ended up not having signal to complete the online check-in, but only a short phone call was needed for an after-hours arrival). Although it is not advertised, the room had a microwave and mini-fridge which came in handy, and the complementary snacks were thoughtful as well.

Situated about 5 miles outside and South of the City of Marquette in the small burgh of Harvey North Coast Place offers newly renovated rooms and studio apartments not far from restaurants, grocery stores and a pharmacy. The goal of North Coast Place is to offer a comfortable place to stay while working toward environmental friendliness. It is an innovative place to stay offering no front desk check-in through a guest portal, earth friendly bedding and linens, power generation through solar panels and more. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The rooms offer a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. There is more than adequate sound proofing between rooms as well. And during cleaning the staff stocks your room with healthy individually wrapped snacks! Although there is no front desk the guest is able to communicate with hotel personnel through the portal. The owners and staff work hard to insure your stay is pleasant and your questions are answered. North Coast Place offers studio apartments for those moving to the Marquette area until they have secured a more permanent dwelling place. North Coast Place is a definite must try for your next trip to Marquette!

North Coast Place is having trouble with their IT department. They have non cable television in all the rooms enabling the guest to "cast" their streaming service to the television. For some reason the room we stayed in the television would not hold or enable our "cast". Instead we had to use AirPlay to mirror our streaming service from our cell phone. The owners of North Coast Place personally worked side by side with us on this issue. We appreciated all they did to make our viewing experience better.

Good communication with staff. She got back to me promptly whenever I texted her. Room was fully stocked and very clean.

Sometimes the traffic was pretty heavy and I was concerned I was going to get hit from behind a couple of times because the people behind me didn't think I was really turning off the highway. But that's not your fault.

Very quiet for 15 rooms occupied. Clean, clean, clean. Homey touches like snacks, extra towels, hooks for hanging things. The motel was all digital check in and out. Very cool.

Good location. Very clean. Could use ada compliant toilets for us older travelers . The standard low toilets are a real problem for some of us.

No night light in the bathroom and the low toilets.

Ease of check-in and close proximity to Marquette. Kids loved the snacks and I enjoyed outdoor seating.

Room was a little small for a family of 4. It was manageable and took advantage of the outside space.

It was super cute, very clean and clearly recently updated. It was quiet and in a secluded space even right off the road.

The room was a little small. It would have been a super tight fit for 4 people but we only had 2 so we made it work. The cute room made up for it.
