Would we stay again? Yes, Absolutely! This is a reasonably priced "Desirination" location. A must visit to experience each lovely season in the area. Our trip was an overnight stay due to an emergency at home requiring us to be away. Our visit was off-season. Some suggestions for improvements The main doors need to have an automatic option if you're not going to have door-persons. As an older couple, it was challenging to maneuver the double set of doors. ADA guests will require assistance to navigate. Our room was excellent. However, there was a lack of electrical outlet availability. Not uncommon. I carry an outlet adapter and extension cord as we have CPAPS, Smartphones, etc. My suggestion would be to extend existing outlets with discrete baseboard level surface mount extenders. Anyone staying with business / remote work needs will be challenged. Notable, besides the lovely vibe, great staff, and fireplaces (truly a lovely place) some outstanding Notables: The beds, sheets, and pillows made for a cozy and wonderful nights sleep. Seriously outstanding! The pool & hottub area - we loved the fact it wasn't overwhelming with chlorine chemical smells like so many places! It was truly noteworthy! In my opinion, salt water hottubs and pools are the best. Dining is experiential with a night out luxury setting. Pricing was moderate, perhaps high for the local community. However, the menu, service, setting, and quality totally justify the indulgence. Pride in quality, menu options , presentation, and experience are noteworthy. A great Date Night Lovation when you want to experience something 'special' without breaking the bank or traveling to a big city. We truly enjoyed our entire stay, and would recommend this destination. We look forward to visiting again and experiencing the different seasons. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet AC, furnished with taste, spacious bathroom, great choice of (and plenty) of coffee, mini fridge. It was a comfortable stay, and I didn't have to worry about anything. Staff was super friendly. I loved the room lighting and the ability to adjust the brightness of the lamps. Definitely recommend this place.

The beds are squeaky (get it?), and the shower was only an overhead one (no mobile handle). Also, one curtain pin was unhooked, which made the curtains not overlap properly. A small issue, but since our room was facing the front of the hotel and the parking lot, at night, you could see inside, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

The breakfast was ok and pretty standard at most US chain hotels. The location on the lake was beautiful and the restaurant onsite was good.

We could hear the upstairs guest's and our neighbor's every move. I'm not sure what could have been done since it's most likely because there is not enough sound dampening in the walls, ceiling and floors.

Had another amazing time at the Gun Lake Live night! The restaurant is wonderful and the next morning breakfast amazing as well as the staff is always so friendly and helpful!

My friends and I were very disappointed that the hot tub was not operating and did not have a heads up on that prior to us going down to the pool area.

It was beautiful, the entire facility is well maintained and the views are stunning

Nothing really, the one thing that was kind of annoying was that the bathroom light was connected with the exhaust fan, which was a little loud, so you couldn’t be in the bathroom ie washing hands, doing hair or makeup without that fan going. A recommendation would be to update the bathroom vanity, it was looking old and not as fresh as the rest of the room.

Pool was cloudy and looked dirty. Need maintenance. Could not see the bottom grates in the deep end a little off color Not advisable to swim in By contrast the spa was crystal clear Did not use either

The location and view was absolutely stunning!

While the fireplace and jacuzzi tub is a great amenity, be aware they are both loud when using jets and you can’t hear the person in the bath with you when they speak. The shower also spills a lot of water when opening/closing.

Everything was wonderful! We loved the spacious room. It was nice to have 2 TVs. The fireplace was beautiful and warm. We loved the spa tub and having a little kitchenette as well. Customer service was amazing and they texted to check on us and see if we needed anything during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of food and drinks. I'm sure there is more to add, and we are looking forward to our next stay!

Nothing comes to mind, except the outlets in the room were slightly loose. They just need to be tightened up.

Location was fabulous! All amenities were excellent! Size our our king room with jacuzzi and fireplace was better than expected! Awesome layout of the room. View was exceptional!! All around it was a great experience and hope to be back again sometime

Loved everything. Never knew this place existed in all these years in Michigan.

Hot tub was not working which was a huge disappointment because my hubby called just to make sure the pool/hot tub was open and the phone greeter stated they were, so we continued to book. Went down in the morning and it was blocked off. That was disappointing when you were really looking forward to it. We did use the pool though.
