I loved this place! It was far better than I had expected. When you think of a Holiday Inn by the airport, you usually imagine a cheesy, run-down spot—but this property was completely different. It was clean, updated, and definitely exceeded any preconceptions I had. We took full advantage of the on-site laundry facilities, washing all ten days’ worth of clothes so we could come home and unpack right away. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and they provided Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. I initially assumed they’d refill generic bottles, but they offered actual Dove products.

I did not like that there was only 1 washer and 1 dryer, but this is a hotel and not a laundromat, so I cannot ding them for that.

Overall, hotel is still new and clean Breakfast is good, but it a little too crowded and not enough seating during the weekend, We have been assigned to the end of the floor as the room is like assigned for senior. But too far to the elevator that we sometime uses the stairways If we are able to walked. This is just in case for people have a hard time to walk on the steps for seniors FYI Rather assigned the room not too far from the elevator.

Suggest to leave some fruit juice in the lobby as well in case some one doesn’t want to have coffee later in the day.

Incredibly comfortable beds and seating. Pillows were perfect. The bathroom was large with a sink area large enough to hold all of my essentials. The large sausage and perfectly done cheese omelet were what I needed for breakfast. The earl grey and English breakfast tea gave me the desired caffeine kick...I can't drink coffee and too many places skimp on the tea. The staff went out of their way when I ended up at the wrong site by finding which location I was supposed to be at. He even went upstairs and got my to go up because I was too exhausted to make one more trip up the stairs.

We liked it all.

Breakfast was not very good. They were out of butter, cinnamon rolls, bananas and never any plain coffee creamer. everyone was complaining to the front desk. They told me the orders were not coming. Well, I truly think that falls on the person doing the ordering. OR, get over to Costco or Gordon Foods and pick up what you need for your guests. Especially with the hotel being full on weekends. We were with a lot of people who booked for a wedding in the area. We had options. I stayed at Fairfield Inn several months ago and their breakfast tops Holiday Inn.

The hotel was very clean and smelled great. The room was clean and tidy with nothing to complain about. My favorite was the Dove soaps for hair, body, hands, etc and the offer for complimentary essentials that may have been forgotten. The breakfast was good for the value of the hotel and included both hot and cold options that I found as adequate for a quick breakfast out the door. Overall I was impressed with the quality for this hotel and would stay here again when in Grand Rapids.

Staff was very professional and friendly, my reservation was not correct, it had my last name as my first and first as last. The front desk associate worked very hard to find the reservation. I applaud her efforts. Room was very comfortable and clean. We were pleasantly surprised at the aesthetics from the external to lobby and breakfast area, very nice pool area also.

More seating in the King room. 1 desk chair and 1 mini chaise chair

Check in/out was quick and easy. Room was clean and spacious. I liked the card key activating the lights. Then we didn't have to turn all the lights off whenever we left the room and we weren't wasting electricity. Breakfast options were plentiful and varied. Carpeting and decor were good, seemed new or recently updated.

One of the two elevators smelled strongly of marijuana, plus a harsh chemical smell - perhaps to cover up the weed?

The location was very quiet & close to GRR. The room was clean. The staff was friendly & helpful & there were plenty of tasty breakfast options & the staff kept the coffee bar & buffet areas very well-stocked & clean. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean & inviting. The workout room was nice for a minimal workout. Also, the room attendant tidied up our room which was so amazing after experiencing a very long & exhausting day.

Breakfast was delicious and the dining area was organized in a way to provide a lot of privacy. The staff kept it exceptionally clean so it was very inviting to relax and dine. Unfortunately when one travels a lot the food choices become just standard. But the oranges were delicious.

It gas a safe Nice long mirror on the wall. Great bathroom with huge walk in shower. Nice design on the wall. Huge sink. Very huge room It was an exceptional stay!! Room was very clean!! Just fantadtic.overall!! My favorite hotel in Michigan so far!!

Please increase temperature of the pool by at least 5 degrees since it is an indoor pool and can't get direct sunlight to heat it up
