We have been coming here for 5 years. Every time has been the highlight of our summer! It is 5 minutes from North Hampton Beach, which is great. We just got back yesterday. The rooms are clean, and the staff is always ready to accommodate our needs if possible. We will be there next year in July again. Also, Lafayette Road, where they are located, have everything from eat-in to take-out or delivery. There is a nail salon directly across the street, and they are the best for gel manicures/pedicures. We go every year. There is also a salon called Salon Trio located in the same building as the nail salon. It is fabulous 👌. The owner and all the hair designers are booked well in advance, so get in when making your appointment next year at the Hampton Motor Inn!

I almost ALWAYS go to the so-called "two-star" motels because of the price. THIS 2-star is definitely a "10" among 2-stars! Most 2-stars are old--otherwise they'd get more stars--but age doe NOT necessarily mean unpleasant (says an octogenarian). They have done excellent remodeling, with good taste in colors, so that it's got curb appeal and overall enjoyable presentation.

They could add a grab-bar on the wall just outside the tub/shower. There's nothing to grab because bathrooms in "the old days" didn't pay attention to that. They SHOULD add these--at least in some rooms so a guest can request it as a safety enhancement. (I have octogenarian balance issues and really felt at risk with nothing to grab.)

It was a reasonable rate for an overnight stay. We stopped because it was the half way point of our travel. We Liked the bays for your car right underneath your room. Location was safe. Close to restaurant and 10-15 minutes to Hampton Beach. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff friendly but did charge the wrong credit card. Handed him a card and he charged the card that held the room and was on file.

Not much to the hotel. Basically a u shaped two story hotel. If staying more than 2-3 days and have children not anything to keep them entertained. No pool. No playground. Vending machine outside of office.

They accommodated my issues and gave me a room on first floor. The room was plenty big enough for the two of us and the bed along with the pillows were very comfortable!! The stuff was very friendly and pleasant to talk with.

I booked one night for a Friday not knowing the area. I went in and booked for Saturday night same room and was charged more, without an explanation. I'm not used to traveling and didn't realize until I saw the purchase on my bank statement that it was $30 dollars more just because of it being a Saturday.

The parking lot was monitored. I didn’t have to worry about the contents in my car.

The room didn’t have a refrigerator in it. I overlooked there wasn’t one in the room when I booked the room. Also the bed made a noise every time I moved.

I liked that the room was very clean. I also like that you had an ashtrays on the deck for people who smoke with comfortable chairs to sit on . Also the bed was very comfortable.

When ever I tried to call the hotel from home I didn't always get through the line and it was a recording that would state to leave a message but it stated it was another number I called. Also I put a deposit of $100 that they told me was for damages if there were any in the room and that that would not be taken out of my account it's just on hold but as I look at my bank account it looks like it's holding it still when do they put that back into my account?

Convenient to attractions in the area. Relatively clean and a nice indoor pool. The staff are extremely friendly and professional.

Could be cleaner and they need to make some minor upgrades and paint. Also they could offer some easy breakfast, like cereal and or fruit and juice.

This motel was well priced within easy access to the Portsmouth and beach areas. There was an outstanding breakfast restaurant within walking distance. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, and cheerful. Our room was more than satisfactory. Coffee and filtered water were available 24 hours in the office.

Continental Breakfast for those wanting such before heading out in the morning. I asked about this and was told they would be adding this shortly as the seasonal influx of visitors increased.

Very helpful, personable, and professional staff. The room was nicely furnished and the coffee and water available in the office was great! The room, grounds, and facility were very clean and tidy.

A minor quibble: the towels were a bit thin and small.
