We arrived after the reception area was closed, but we had been given the room code prior to arrival so we had no problem getting into our room. The kitchen was a nice bonus, although we didn't have the opportunity to use anything other than the refrigerator.

We were a party of 2 adult couples and found that the rooms were not private, so if that's a must for you then this is not the room for you. We ended up having to leave the second bedroom door open at night to receive air (no source of air in the room itself). For us, this was not a huge deal as we only stayed 1 night and the other couple was our daughter and her husband, but it is definitely something to keep mind.

The facility has been completely remodeled so everything is refreshed and clean, the grounds were well kept all brand-new beds and furniture in the rooms and outside on the decks and patios .

The weather was a little too cool out to use the outdoor pool, but the pool was still left dirty and not useable that should be remedied soon now that it's close to summer and for eye appeal. There were fancy Nespresso machines in the rooms but not many of the pods to use with it possibly adding a regular coffee machine or Keurig in some of the rooms would be nice .

Loved the location! The beach is crossed the street. Love the outdoor patio! They had live music every night we were there along with a snack shack where you can get drinks and food. Great atmosphere. Rooms were cute our overlooked the beach. All the staff were incredible!

If I have to say anything bad, it would only be that we had trouble locking the slider out to the deck. The pool was good and warm, it could have used some treatment. It was very cloudy.

Had no Breakfast at the Motel. The location is the best. Staff on site all friendly and offered all things that they should.

The driveway should not be labeled for direction by the office. The online only booking system is awful. When I booked in April , I think. I could only get one oceanfront room I wanted 2 rooms that were oceanfront. When we were there by our observation there were several rooms that were not occupied. My wife and i were back to stay in July and we had the same in that we would of booked ocean front but could not. Again there were several rooms that did not have guest in them for the duration of our stay . In April i tried numerous times to call and no one answered the phone and did not call back. In june we were told that we would get a returning guest discount, i did not ask when we were there and did not get a discount.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at 935 Ocean. The property, room, pool area, grass area, fir pit were all impeccably neat and clean. Furnishings were simple, not cluttered or heavy. Everything we needed was supplied. There was even a Nespresso coffee maker. The location and views of the beach were perfect. Steps away from the ocean. We especially loved the Adirondack chairs outside of our room where could sit, relax and look at the ocean. Our visit was shorter than we had hoped, but we will absolutely return for a longer stay next time. A very peaceful spot! Staff was very pleasant, helpful and hard working.

Loved the balcony, that you had extra towels, wash clothes, etc., located on 2nd floor with extra coffee, creamers. Bed was comfy, would like thicker pillows, I like different thickness, room was small, but view and walking on beach was great. Bathroom small and toilet was very close to wall and kept hitting shelves. Room 305 was our room, great air conditioning. Slow drain in bathroom, I hope they got a chance to take care of. Very friendly staff, like this better than Hampton. Would have loved to try pool, but weather wasn’t that great. Loved sand sculptures. For a 200 year old building it has its quirks. Small stairway to third floor, but we were aware when I booked. Did not like the bed against the wall, very hard for me to get out of bed. No closet but you do offer a big dresser with drawers. Loved that you offer a fridge.

Problem with sliding door closing to lock. I liked that you emailed the code to get in, some customers were having a problem, and when I checked out it took a couple of tries to lock it. Just keep good quality bedding, towels and wash clothes. Hate those cheap things wash clothes. Keep checking on the maintenance of your building, use lower quality products and it shows.

This was a spontaneous mid-week respite to enjoy the ocean breezes, avoiding the oppressive inland heatwave. Easy beach access, super friendly and helpful staff, enjoyable pool with nearby modern and clean bathroom, nice grassy backyard perfect for lawn games or hanging with kids, Covered porch was an awesome surprise, we had a super comfortable front row seat to the intense thunderstorm that came through that night.

Room was a bit small with one chair. Would make a weeks beach vacation a bit challenging especially if weather did not allow use of covered porch seating. Did not find any directions for Nespresso machine, finally figured out and made 1 cup of nice coffee, could not get a second full cup of coffee at all.

The Staff was amazing and they really went out of their way to accommodate us while we were there. I really appreciate that every staff person there was working hard on making sure we enjoyed our time there.

The only draw back for me was the online check in system and that office hours are only 8am -5 pm. After 5 pm there is no way to speak to a live person or to get a message in real time to management. We had trouble with being able to check in with the online check in system and because we couldn't communicate with a live person we ended up having to find another place to stay for the night because we couldn't get into our room. It ended up working out beautifully, but it may present a problem for someone else in the future, especially, if it is during peak season and there are no other vacancies.

The property was clean and the location was great!

The property was a self check in and check out process. We had issues getting into our room because the lock box wasn’t working but they had left the door unlocked and inside the room for us. After 10 minutes of trying to contact someone in the office and getting sent to voicemail we finally got ahold of someone and they let us know. But it wasn’t without some confusion and panic first. I would have liked the staff to be more available for phone calls and questions. When they did reach back out it was through a text message and I wasn’t even sure who it was coming from at first. No “hi this is XYZ from 935” etc.

This property is exceptional ! Our room was spacious, very comfortable, clean, quiet. The location was great ! The beds and pillows were super comfortable, including the pull out sofa. The room was well stocked with supplies. The property was clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again !
