The room was spacious and breathable for three adults. Could have accommodated more without discomfort. Clean, pool and spa were clean and open.

Shower wasn't very safe. The drain needed to be pushed and pulled by leaning down and doing it manually, the handle safety bar is not rounded and it was in a bad spot. After draining water I almost gave myself a concussion on the handle because it is so blunt. I went down asked for an ice pack explaining what happened. Was told no, understandable. So I asked for a bag for ice and was told I had one in my room. So I had to go all the way back to my room, head throbbing and all the way back down for ice. After that I didn't feel comfortable asking for anything else we needed.

Great location and room was clean.

The manager was very nice but there seems to be a bit of a language barrier and she didn’t understand me. I had originally booked this hotel because it said it was pet friendly and I had planned on brining my dog. I ended up not having to bring my dog but was confused as the paperwork I had to sign said “this is a pet free facility” and a charge of 250 would be made if I had a pet. The manager didn’t understand when I brought this up. I booked on booking.com and that website said this is a pet friendly hotel.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good. Liked location in town. Room design was pleasant and clean looking.

The ventilation system delivered the smell of second hand smoke. As long as the AC was cranked to 64 it was less noticeable but any warmer and the smell would permeate the room. Also the view was overlooking a storage rental facility so no mountains visible. And finally, could not open the small window in the room because there was no crank/handle on the window so no relief from bad air.

Nothing about the stay waa extraordinary- at first. One man made the entire experience extremely comfortable. I wish I could recall his name but my old age betrays my recollection. This staff member must have been an engineer of sorts- as he was not stationed as desk staff. My cousin and I are 2 elderly women and we have mobility issues and degenerating spines. Lugging our baggage is quite physically demanding...and this man went out of his way to offer assistance with the transportation of our luggage. After we wrapped up breakfast, he politely introduced himself and offered his assistance. Its people like him that make this world a better place. What an asset to the property. I hope they treat him well, as he treats patrons well and that is why I will keep coming to the property. He spoke spanish, and was so kind and respectful. How refreshing! The art of hospitality is scarce, but this gentleman encompasses all that is hospitable. Please share my commendations and recognize his excellent work.

Because of the gentleman described in the previous response-I cannot recall what I wasn't thrilled with.

Breakfast was good, enough items to choose from and good coffee. The location is fine, not downtown but not noisy either and set back from the street.

The typical hallway doors slamming before the alarm clock. Hard to spy the hotel behind other businesses, missed it in the first drive by.

Awesome place to stay. Friendly staff and great location. The rooms were very comfortable and good size. Nice breakfast. We even had the pool to ourselves a few times. Quiet. We'd definitely stay here again.

The pool and the area around it could have been cleaner. Parking area kind of small for the night it was completely booked.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel, hallways and room was very clean, the bed and bedding was very comfortable and the hot breakfast was delicious. I can always count on Holiday Inn Express.

The only complaint that I have is this. I love to take baths, long, hot soaking baths. But the center of shower head would not stop running when the tub water was running.

The young lady @ the front desk was friendly & smiling. She was welcoming. She advised us of the back entrance. This was very convenient. The back entrance was close to my room, which made it easier to unload, with a disabled adult. The room was clean. The air conditioner worked great. The breakfast was very good, as they had a full breakfast. Me & my family were very pleased with this hotel. The parking lot had security cameras. They took my vehicle infirmation to only allow the customers to park, which made it easy to find a parking spot. This hotel was exceptional.

There was nothing that I did not like. The stay was great.

Staff was friendly, room was clean with plenty of space and comfy bed.

Hotel noted laundry facilities but didn’t note they were change machines only with no availability to exchange money for change and no laundry detergent in the hotel. Huge inconvenience given the unexpectedly snowy weather - both should be easily accessible in the laundry room. Fridge also froze everything rather than keeping cold.

Breakfast was plentiful. Room, quiet. Location easy find during on week stay as a home base to visit sites within New Mexico.

Though, would have appreciated some more fresh fruit options in breakfast selection. Housekeeping skipped our room one morning. Reception staff told us that all housekeeping staff had gone home for the day--was Saturday., so no service available until Monday.
