Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Unfortunately they were doing major external renovations such as tearing off balconies and replacing windows- sawing and hammering all day. Also stucco repair and external painting of the whole property. The hot tubspa was closed and drained while we were there but we were still charged $25 a day resort fee.

The amenities in the lodge and what I received in value for the room itself met my expectations. I definitely will be staying here again on my next visit. The hotel was clean and inviting!

A couple of things to improve on. I'd like to see checkout be at 11am instead of 10am, by default. Also, please let guests know about the room cleaning policy. Having to give the staff 24 hours notice to come clean our room is unusual. Lastly, this may be a booking.com policy - if it's possible to charge the full rate upon booking, rather than charging the $25/nightly fee separately (even if it was previously explained), that'll be great. Guests prefer a stay without any surprises.

Very comfortable setup.i liked the room door separators. Super Nice staff. Lots of attention to detail. Liked the cooking pots. would have liked lids that fit onto all of them. I appreciated being able to have my extended family over for a birthday party in the patio. Pools were great! Loved lots of hangers. Would have appreciated another luggage rack for unpacking. Never understood why there is just one for a room. Liked the many drawers and storages. Liked the art in the bathroom. Wish I could have turned on bathroom light from inside the bathroom so I didn't keep waking my husband up at night I liked all the trash cans. I wasn't sure about recycling even though they were other efforts at sustainability.

I would have loved to have more places to put wet suits and towels before hanging them in the closet. I also would have liked more end tables to put down our coffee cups near the couch and chair. I did not feel comfortable putting them on the ottoman.it just seemed like they were likely to spill on the floor and I didn't want that. I would also have liked to have a handrail on the side of the shower that I could have held on to while stepping over the tub. Our dishwasher kept turning on it and spilling water on the floor so we ended up unplugging it. Couldn't figure out how to turn it off.

Nicely located within easy walk of downtown Santa Fe as well as the convention centre and a well-appointed shopping mall. The rooms were very nicely appointed, especially for the price. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when they were going off-duty.

The reception desk did not appear to be attended at all times, which caused a difficulty for me when my flight arrived late in the evening. There seemed to be no way for me to raise the staff when I arrived. By chance, a staff member passed me on their way home and was able to call for someone to come open the reception desk.

The location of this property is very close (3 blocks) to the Santa Fe City Conference Center, a pleasant walk. We were going to the annual Literary Festival held there over 3 days so it was superconvenient. Little kitchen appreciated as well as 2 separate rooms. Has handicapped access from the parking lot to room.

The kitchen was extremely poorly stocked with appropriate utensils for cooking, tho some were supplied on request . Cleaning only supplied on request despite 5 night stay. The room was not marked with a number ! which of course delayed access to it checking in.

Suite was perfect - kitchenette was more than adequate, bed was comfy, blankets were warm, bathroom worked, location was PERFECT, parking was always available. About location: walking distance to the Plaza and the heart of Santa Fe, and a very short drive to the shopping center with two different grocery stores, CVS, and more. Could be walked except that you wouldn't want to carry gorceries back!

1. Great facilities! Separate bedroom; well-equipped kitchenette with full-size refrig, comfortable beds & chairs; good dining-room table; pleasing decor; small balcony; parking. 2. Surprisingly low rates at many times of the year. They often get lower as the dates you'd like to be there approach, perhaps due to unexpectedly low demand. 3. Excellent location. Easy to get to, easy to park, and only a few short blocks from the plaza.

I used to complain about the added resort fee, but that's gone now. So no complaints at all.

Everything was great! We try to get to Santa Fe as much as possible. Both of our careers are extremely busy. But after this short trip, we would like to make the Villas our regular place to stay while we are in SF.

Well, what sucked for us this short trip were 2 things. 1, it was that. Short. We had too many other things going on but we needed a break. and 2. Well, we both got the flu just before driving the 9 1/2 hr trip. We both stayed in bed most of the time there. THat's not the VIllas fault. But those were the 2 things were bad.

The Villas de Santa Fe was a great place to stay. It was located within walking distance to the plaza, the Georgia O'Keefe museum, the Santa Fe School of Cooking, etc. We loved having the pool and hot tub available. There were also billiards and other games, as well as a mini library and exercise room. The room was fantastic too. We loved using the kitchenette in the morning, and we appreciated having a living room in addition to a bedroom. Lastly, the staff was awesome! They helped me printout some paperwork I needed mid-stay. They also texted 3 times during our stay to ensure that we had everything we needed.

The hot tub and pool were a little dirty. My husband cleaned the hot tub filter because it wasn't keeping up with all of the leaves and buds from the tree above it. That said, it was windy for most of our stay so perhaps that's why.

Clean and adequate space for one couple. Staff was very helpful and responsive to our issues found on check-in including a plumbing defect that required a transfer on our arrival night to another suite.

No f&b except coffee service. Not even beverage or snack options other than the coffee service. I suggest you establish the type of food, soft drink and beer and wine options for purchase to be consumed in the individual suite.
