The staff were all friendly and accommodating and the check in was quick and professional. The room was a good size, was modern and the kitchenette was an extra that I wouldn't expect in this priced hotel. Bathroom was clean, spacious and functional. The bed was large and comfortable. The TV, air conditioning and the curtains all functioned perfectly, which allowed for a really pleasant stay. I mention these as our trip saw us in multiple hotels throughout the States and some places failed in these basics. The free breakfast was good, without being great, but had all the buffet options, so most people would find something to eat, to start their day. We joined the hotel club for free, which allowed early check in and late check out. If you want a very reasonably priced hotel, with great amenities, very friendly staff, that's very close to Manhattan, I thoroughly recommend this establishment. In relation to the location of the hotel and some of the negative comments left by others - It's a five-minute walk to the subway and yes you walk past some groups of people of different ethnicities hanging around the markets/shops, but at no time were we hassled and we walked through the area multiple times, at all hours of the day and night - and not that this should matter but we are Caucasians - and we got hassled for money in Manhattan, multiple times, as happens when you travel to any big city. We used Ubers when we went out to eat at a couple of local restaurants, because it was pretty cold, and the trips were $10 USD or less. If you think I'm promoting this place too strongly, feel free to check out my other reviews - I always give an honest review because I would want to know as the proprietor of an establishment, what I'm doing right or wrong, so my business flourishes.

Nothing. I think this place is great value for money.

The property was modern and updated with comfortable common spaces. The room was well laid out with new fixtures and everything in working order. The desk was actually an ample size, the kitchenette perfect. The bathroom was perfect. The hotel is a short walk to Queensbridge/21st Street subway station where you can catch the F line right to Lexington/63rd street station in Manhattan (a 10 minute ride at most). That’s a major selling point.

No complaints really. I wish the room had more storage for clothing (the closet is fine but drawers would have been nice). The neighborhood is not particularly picturesque (Long Island City isn’t Astoria) and there aren’t a lot of dining options. The property warns guests that it’s a working class area, which itself isn’t an issue for those of us who live in larger cities. But suburban tourists might be surprised.

The room was quite modern with comfortable beds, the breakfast was exceptional, and the amenities were all added bonuses.

The only thing I didn’t like was the location, it was right next to the projects and a migrant shelter. Very much a sketchy walk to the hotel from the train station.

This is a clean and well-organized hotel with modern facilities. The lobby is very comfortable, with a cozy couch area. The lower lobby also has couches and tables with power outlets, making it a great spot for working or relaxing. There is always free hot coffee and both hot and cold water available in the lobby, which is a thoughtful touch. The hotel also offers a fitness room and a laundry room for guests' convenience. The room was comfortable and spacious, featuring a small kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. I especially appreciated the layout and proportions of the kitchen space—it was very pleasant to use. You can also go up to the rooftop to enjoy the view. The hotel breakfast was excellent, very filling and satisfying!

While the hotel itself is modern and well-equipped, the surrounding neighborhood feels a bit unclean. It’s also a bit of a walk, around 5 to 10 minutes, from the nearest subway station to the more lively parts of the city. The bathroom was very nice, but it lacked enough towel racks, which made it difficult to hang and dry towels when many people live together.

We had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The value for money was good. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. Another advantage was the location – the hotel is close to Manhattan, just a few subway stops away, making it very easy to access the city’s main attractions.

The only downside was the area around the hotel, which was a bit dirty. However, I can’t say that it made us feel unsafe.

The hotel is very well equipped and all the staff went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. The rooms are clean and a good size. It takes approximately 20 minutes to get to central Manhattan, which is super convenient, by direct subway line. Breakfast suited us very well too.

The area felt safe but a bit dirty, although I completely understand this has nothing to do with the hotel itself, which was spotless. The price seemed expensive to us, but that's NYC, I guess!

The hotel is very close to NYC public housing, known locally as "the projects". Being a former New Yorker, I can navigate the area but I wouldn't term it safe, especially at nite-although the presence of police is generally there. If you are watchful, you should be fine. The bus service is particularly good and will get you to other interesting areas in Queens like, Astoria in a few minutes. The F train, the subway line closest to the hotel, will get you into the city (NYC-Manhattan) in a quick ride.

Comfortable, clean, well run, friendly staff. So close to Manhattan! Five minutes from the subway station and literally two stops in. Decent breakfasts with eggs, sausage, etc. Decent coffee 24 hours. It's a little bit in the "hood" with some sketchy characters around but as a New Yorker it doesn't feel dangerous and the worst you'll experience at night is some crazy people shouting. Lots of brightly lit stores around. And there are lots of hotels and other tourists in the area.

I liked the stuff it was friendly and helpful! check in and check out was smooth no problems.. quite fresh hotel can say.. windows and wall isolation is good and thats important.. big bed was very comfortable like sleeping on the big cloud. Good value for money and 2 stations with metro from center! There is few good to eat around hotel.

Breakfast could be little better. Location is little bit scary at the first ..but if you dont dress like a clown or dont look like prostitute everything will be fine!

Hotel is excellent, well maintained and clean though neighborhood seems poor (but quiet enough and did not feel dangerous). Close to subway so easy to get around. Breakfast modest but adequate and generally very happy with the hotel facilities. Some restaurants and convenience stores close by. Staff in particular were very helpful and went well out of their way to help us. On arrival my wife dropped her bag in the taxi and did not discover it until after the taxi left. The reception staff spared no effort in trying to contact the driver via the driver number in the receipt and eventually we were put in touch with the driver who returned the bag with all contents intact. I cannot praise the reception staff highly enough for the effort they put into helping us at this difficult time.

Nothing to dislike though it seemed strange that the hotel was so good in what seemed a down market commercial neighborhood.
