Our dinner was excellent. Service was great. The staff reflects well on Biltmore and you should be proud of them. Even the room service staff spoke and wished us a nice day, etc. The fireplace in the courtyard was a great place to meet and talk with other guests. The biscuits and gravy we had for breakfast most likely raised our cholesterol levels but it was definitely worth it.

We found ourselves a bit confused as to what restaurants were open when. Kept getting them confused. But we are old so confusion is a way of life for us and may not be for others. A few more places to hang towels after use would also have been nice.

Location was good. Scenery was beautiful. The front desk personnel were gracious and helped us find our way to an excellent restaurant for breakfast and Italian food. We love the Winery and come multiple times every year.

We had dinner onsite (directly across from winery). The food was not very good, there was a green sauce that absolutely ruined the steak. I would not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends who stay there. The staff were nice but the choices for food were limited and timing of food brought to out table took almost 1 hour. In addition we asked for water several times. Sorry to give such an honest rating but I am being truthful, my husband and I felt we were disapppointed for what we paid for food, drinks, tips, and taxes.

Clean, spacious rooms, fabulous staff, wonderful location. Conner at the front desk was particularly good, booking us into a nice room with a view. The small breakfast/lunch restaurant downstairs was great, very practical and good food.We enjoyed the wine tasting, too.

Please write on your website that guests should always input "1 Lodge Street" into their GPS in order to avoid ending up at the employee entrance which will be locked. It would also be great if you had more sales/special offers, since both the Village Hotel and the Inn are quite pricy.

Superb location in the middle of the estate surrounded by trees and fields with the mountains in the distance. Biltmore House is well worth a visit - very impressive. Grounds are incredible, especially the Conservatory. Lovely cafe in the hotel lobby - great pastries and coffee. Huge wine shop right behind hotel selling a large range of luxury products as well as the Biltmore wine (free tastings available). Lovely ice cream parlour short walk from hotel plus 2 restaurants - one in the hotel and the other a 5 min walk.. Bike hire available.

Food was good but a little overpriced. No free shuttle to Biltmore House unless you stay at the Inn. If you don’t want to drive to the house there is an express bus for $15 per person which you need to book. Only one relatively short paved bike path - the estate is huge and there could be a lot more paved bike paths. The “winery” is just a shop where you can taste and buy wines. They do make wine on the estate and have large vineyards but you can’t visit them which is a real shame. They use to do vineyard tours but stopped due to COVID and haven't started them again. When we checked in we were not given any information about dining, activities or how to get to the house.

The location is great and the room is nice.

We were charged an occupancy fee($50), this is a horrible add on to the bill! It's a huge fee added, once you've paid for your stay and food. You're not aware of the fee until it has been added to the bill and deducted from your account. This really upset me for days! It feels like you've been robbed!

The Hotel is gorgeous and clean. Everything inside is spotless. The room was so well organized and even had bottles of Biltmore white and red wine with glasses if you choose to partake. The view of some mountains and fields below was still spectacular. We arrived after the village shops had all closed but we did eat at Cedric’s tavern which was amazing. The walk to the “village” was less than 2 minutes from the hotel door. I wish we had planned to arrive earlier so we could have taken in the shops. Also, your hotel stay affords access to the entire grounds and gardens so we could have taken in a good bit more of the estate’s landscape and grounds in the cool of the evening if we had arrived earlier in the day. I will definitely be back and I am glad I spent a little extra on the hotel rather than staying off site. Once you drive into the estate, you really feel like you have gone back in time.

I really wish there was an earlier check in. GPS is misleading. Turn off GPS and just follow the signs.

The location of the hotel was the best part of our trip. We loved walking around the village and visiting the winery which was directly behind the hotel. We ate at the village and couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. The drive to the biltmore was short as was the drive to downtown and river arts district. The hotel was clean, updated, and felt like a perfect get away. They also had socials over the weekend which involved free glasses of wine, there was a cafe to get coffee and food from as well. Michael who checked us in was beyond kind and helpful. We cannot say enough great things. It was the perfect way to spend our first anniversary.

Breakfast was not included, and unfortunately there was no Microwave in the room. Security was impressive but they were short-staffed and it took a long time to have someone answer the phone at the front desk. More importantly, there were no guest information in the room and we later learned that it was a fully electronic information process that appeared inconvenient to us.the

The lack of information in the guest rooms. The inconvenience of their Short-staffed operation and the absence of Microwaves in guest rooms.Good

Excellent location. Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. Decor based on Biltmore location. Breakfast in the hotel cooked to order, Quiet room. Walkiing distance to restaurants and gift shops. Plenty of free parking. Open field across the street, feels like being in a park. Landscaping and sidewalk well maintained. No trash outside and rabbits hopping around in the flower beds. Plenty of hot water with a large shower head. View of the winery from the hotel room window.

Double beds are small for two people. We had three people in our party so the king bed room wasn't an option. It would be better to offer queen beds for that price point. The room is big with extra space that could be used for bigger beds. Shower doors are glass swing open doors which are nice but let some water out onto the floor.

This is a beautiful property in a fantastic location. At Biltmore, you have the natural beauty along with peace and quiet. There are many activities to keep you as busy as you like. We enjoyed biking around the property and thanks to the great gal at the front desk, Gabbi, we knew which paths to take to optimize the ride. The wine tasting is fun, of course, and the shop there at the winery has a terrific mix of wines, foods, and gifts. It's Biltmore, so everything is well done and lovely to look at. And then for more activity, lively downtown Asheville is just a few minutes away. It's worth the visit for the food alone.

It is expensive. Somethings you expect to be expensive, especially at a place like that. But shepherds pie at Cedric's (which is really shepherds soup) is served in a small bowl with a LOT of potatoes and a FEW bits of lamb the size of Tic Tacs was around $29. One tea, one coffee, and a milk was $11.50.
