I liked that they had maid service. Few hotels offer that anymore.
The location was hard to find. When I mentioned it to the staff they were aware of it and could have told us that before we came! Breakfast was provided but the food was cold. Even the coffee was not hot. The phone in the room didn’t work. I complained the first night we were there and every day we were there and it was never replaced! They did say they were going to replace it.

The hotel is centrally located with decent thoroughfare access. The breakfast spread was surprising and the hours are longer than most other hotels. The bathroom is bright and modern. The shower was the highlight of the room. A king size bed with multiple types of comfortable pillows. Pool was a nice amenity.
The street light is directly outside of the window. This wouldn't really be an issue if the window shades could be completely closed to block out the light. Inability to open a window to get fresh air. The floors seemed to be paper thin. We could hear the person above us walking around like an elephant trampling. Room cleaning is only offered on the third day of your stay. The area is a little seedy and not very walkable. We could not use the exterior west facing door for access due to the key card reader being broken.

The room was nice, it was quiet and the beds comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, but it smelled good. The location worked well for where we needed to be. The area seemed safe although there was a homeless person in one of the door wells in the adjacent mall.
Cleaning - apparently this hotel cleans every 3 days - okay that's acceptable. However, we stayed for 4 nights. Our room was not cleaned on the 3rd day and when i questioned why not - the staff indicated I should have called.... really?? is this my issue? I would stay again, but would be very aware of their cleaning policy.

The desk staff was among the best I've encountered anywhere, going out of their way to be friendly & helpful. Arriving late at night after a flight delay, with no place open to get a bite to eat. The desk staff got us bagels, yogurt and fruit. Their compassion was above and beyond!
Our room had a very strong smell. I believe it was carpet cleaning product. Consequently, I had a scratchy throat for four days, which disappeared as soon as I returned home. The desk chair had been chewed up by a previous guests animal. That should have been replaced.

Nice clean property. Only 8 years old . Free shuttle which we used a few times each day…shuttle ended at 9 pm. Less than 10 minute shuttle ride to downtown. Loved the use of real dishes at breakfast…better for the environment than standard styrofoam found at most hotels. Breakfast better than average…bananas, apples and oranges available as well as the usual options Free cookies in afternoon Oh…lots of dogs too! Didn’t realize this when booking but very nice to see they welcomed dogs.
Not in downtown area but price reflected this. Also tricky to get to bike and running paths …possible but required going down fairly steep roads. Running path along river was great. Food trucks near the arts area also great

Shuttle service was great. Breakfast too. Suite accommodated the 3 of us very well. Great to have a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Easy on and off the highway. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean fitness room. Good Wi-Fi. Free parking. The grocery and drugstore a 5 minute walk away were convenient.
The name of the hotel is River Arts District but it's not in the RAD. That's misleading. We thought we'd be able to walk out of the hotel and enjoy exploring that district. Since it was less than a mile away across the bridge we decided to walk there, only to encounter trash and litter on a mega scale, meth heads and homeless vagrants on the stairs down to the only path to the RAD. Needless to say, we turned back and drove over instead. Radisson should remove River Arts District from the name. It's not in that district. West Asheville would be a more accurate indication of its location. The shuttle service is a bonus. We used it several times during our 2 day visit. Had it not been available it would have been a less than desirable location.

Amazing breakfast with waffles, eggs (each day a different preparation), sausage, muffins, a toaster to use yourself. There's coffee with cream all day long available at the lobby. Hotel staff were super friendly. There's a heated pool and a gym room. Even the shampoo and conditioner they provide are of good quality. There's a laundry room on the first floor, you can buy soap at the front desk. The hotel is pet friendly, so if you don't like the smell of dogs, be prepared to encounter many of those.
The location is not the best. However, there's a free shuttle to take us and pick us up from downtown.

The staff was really nice and helpful, especially since Booking.com messed up our reservations. The staff was able to get us the final vacant room that they had in the hotel. It was fairly late in the evening and we wouldn’t have had time to try to find something else. I won’t be using Booking.com again.
The hot water went off for a while. Right when we were wanting to take our morning showers. I understand that that wasn’t anything that could be helped really. Especially since the hurricane went through a few months earlier.

Very good compared to other hotels offering breakfast at the facility. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was pleased that the room was serviced each day unlike some other hotels I have stayed at recently.
The location adjacent to a shopping center was a bit unusual. I was not comfortable with parking my car overnight in a public lot. The lock on the door near the lot was broken and did not allow entry back into the building with my room key. This required a much longer walk back around to the front of the building. A few spaces in front were designated for 15 minute parking only.

Location was good. Breakfast was ok. Staff was good too. Although we felt that we were bothering them when asked for the fire pit to be turned on, asked for a plate to microwave food in the room microwave (they only have styrofoam which is not good for the microwave or environment) and asked for a wine opener which they did not have!
