Did not have breakfast

The front desk staff seemed to be out of step with each other I was told one person was new and being trained. At one point they thought we were not in the hotel. I had booked 2 days but decided to stay a third day. I talked to the front desk person and some how there was confusion. We checked in late at night and our res was for a King room but we were put in a 2 queen bed room. I was told the res was for this type of room. It was late and I was tired. The next day I check the res and found it was for a King. The day shift front desk person agreed and offered a King room. We decided to stay in the queen as we like the design of the room better.

Beautiful, eclectic hotel in a refurbished brick building with floor to ceiling windows. The furnishings are well thought out and soooo fun! There is a coffee shop on site and a restaurant with a very interesting menu: a gym and roof top bar are still being renovated from the damage incurred by Hurricane Helene, but they are expected to be completed soon. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable-always available to answer any questions and offer information about Asheville. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with some pretty “wow” amenities: soft spa robes, excellent mattresses, duvets, and pillows, and a coffee/tea set up with a copper kettle and Counter Culture coffee bags 😳 (for the uninitiated, that’s a local coffee house with excellent coffee-I live in Raleigh and get a 5 lb bag delivered to my house every month. So. Good.) There are remarkable views of the French Broad River from the room windows (the very same river that caused the flooding from the hurricane) Would heartily and without reservation recommend. We were very happy to be able to stay in a local hotel and do our part to help Asheville get back on her feet. It’s a great town

We stayed here in Asheville on our way back home and booked last minute. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The hotel has a quirky, interesting vibe—not ideal if you’re traveling with a baby, but definitely a fun change if you’re up for something different. Our room was spotless, and the whole place was impressively clean, which is rare. The one downside was that the room had no natural light or window, which made it feel a bit closed off. It’s not the most comfortable setup, but the attention to detail—from the scents to the design—made it feel like a little luxury for a reasonable price. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something unique. We probably wouldn’t go back with a baby, but overall, it was a great stay!

We loved the boutique vibe of the hotel! The graffiti, unique rooms, cool lobby area and great location in the Arts District were some of our favorite features. Our room had a river view which was lovely especially in the morning and evenings. Lots of places to walk and explore close by. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

Unfortunately, we were there only a few months after hurricane Helene, so the restaurant, coffee bar and rooftop were not open during our visit.

There was no breakfast. The location was perfect for my purpose.

The first morning, it sounded like the cleaning crew was unaware there were guests on the third floor. Very loud conversations and vacuuming early…7:00 am-ish? I understand Helene impacted greatly. Once I put my do not disturb on the door(which closes Very loudly on its own) they went away or quieted down. I felt guilty but it was too early after working into the wee hours.

Went for a concert at the Grey Eagle! Literally right around the corner from the Radical Hotel. The lobby and all public spaces were CLEAN and smelled amazing. Our room was CLEAN, and so was the bathroom. I am picky and a germaphobe so this goes a long way for me. The beds were comfy and had four huge pillows on each bed. The hotel was minutes from everything downtown. Although our stay was short, I would definitely recommend a stay here. You get what you pay for! I know where I will be staying from now on in Asheville.

Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to the team for going above and beyond during our recent stay. It was my mother’s 70th birthday, and I had emailed in advance—but we were truly blown away by the thoughtful touches waiting for us in the room. The balloons, the little "Happy Birthday" banner, and the gift made her feel so celebrated. It was such a special and memorable start to her birthday trip, and we’re incredibly grateful for the effort and care that went into it. Thank you again for making it all so wonderful.

My partner and I would like to say how amazing our stay was. From the very moment we arrived, we loved the exterior. We knew we were in for a treat. We couldn't have been more correct. This place is incredible. We walked in and were greeted by the most professional and friendly front desk employee. I apologize, but I can't remember her name. She really took the time to answer any and all questions, which was wonderful because we were not familiar with the area. She even assisted us in finding charging stations for our vehicle. Every step we took towards our room was filled with visual joy. All the interior styling was so freaking cool. Once we walked into the room, our jaws dropped. We couldn't believe how spacious and well laid out everything was. So many details and accommodations were thought through. We honestly didn't want to leave. Haha. We also had the pleasure to try out the restaurant downstairs the Golden Hour, and that was amazing as well. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were incredible. Like the front area staff, they were so nice and informative, very knowledgeable of the menu, and helped us with our decisions. The food and drinks were amazing. We honestly can not wait to return to Asheville, and for the sole reason is to stay here again. Thank you to all of the staff which made our experience quite possibly the best travel experience we've ever had. We will be back!!!!

Very clean, super nice room and bathrooms, very friendly staff, great location, the restaurant was even great! Beds and bedding were so comfortable we could’ve lounged in bed all day but it was 4th of July and there were so many things going on around the hotel and downtown. The rooftop was super fun! Bar food, drinks, and dinner at the hotel were all great. We will be back.

Very friendly staff. Comfy rooms. Great restaurants onsite and it's in a cool neighborhood outside of downtown. Also, their bathrooms are just amazing.

There was only one hook in the bathroom! Also, the hotel hallways were really cold, overly air-conditioned. As a result, the room was also very cold and it was hard to adjust my room temp to be more comfortable.
