I loved the room even though it was smaller, but the decor and features of the room made it perfect! The bathroom was clean and included everything you would need. I appreciated the cute closet space and availability of a steam iron and robes which I should have used when the fire alarm went off at 2am! Not the best night for that to happen when your leaving for the airport at 7am. But understood our safety was their first priority.

That we didn't stay another night! ;-)

The ambiance in this boutique hotel was amazing. It was like stepping into a portal and arriving in a posh, 1920s era "speakeasy." Our room and floor were full of sleek, art deco style touches. They paid a lot of attention to detail.

The hotel had only recently opened, and was having technical issues with the internet-based TV and phone (in fact, they didn't work at all). The technician was there working on our floor, but couldn't restore service during our short stay. We didn't mind, as we were too tired to watch TV anyway.

I enjoyed the centralized location of the hotel. It was within walking distance of the restaurants and night life.

I didn’t like that I had to pay for parking, there was no refrigerator in the room and there are no “no -pet” rooms. Because it was central to the activities of the city, it was LOUD until early morning (music, sirens, etc) I didn’t like all the homeless in town-

I loved everything about this hotel - except maybe the lack of decent self-parking ($30/day for excellent valet service, however). The attention to detail and restoration of the historical building and the top-notch service provided by the staff were the best parts, but every little thing was excellent. I will stay here every time I come to Asheville.

They’ve done a wonderful job renovating this historic building. It’s very stylish while also maintaining some beautiful original elements. The location is fantastic for walking all around downtown.

I loved everything but it would be nice if they had a gym.

There was not any breakfast available. They offer water, tea, coffee all day long. It was close enough to walk to get anything else you may want or need.

Sometimes the noise in the downtown area was a little loud but, you get use to it pretty quickly.

You can walk to everything in downtown Asheville with the location of this hotel. The hotel itself has a historic charm that you will fall in love with. They have a rooftop bar with an amazing view and a speakeasy down below in the basement. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful historic yet modern feel in a perfect centralized location. The rooftop areas were awesome and the staff all throughout the hotel was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Also, the complimentary coffee and tea station on our floor was a huge plus.

The staff was excellent. Christian was particularly kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The beds are somewhat firm, but overall, this hotel is one of the best in Asheville.

The location, staff, and cleanliness left nothing to be desired.

The noise from outside carried up to the 8th floor and kept us up a bit late.
