Staff was great!! We went to the bar both nights, and the bartender who was on staff both nights was amazing!! Due to snow Sunday night, the bar closed early so staff could get home (which was totally reasonable), and she still made us feel welcome to watch the football game there that night after the bar closed for drinks. The room was great and felt very luxurious while still being a reasonable price!

Everything was great other than we did have a neighbor whose dog barked randomly for a minute or so every few hours through the night. While this wasn't the hotel's fault, and we didn't say anything to any staff about it, it was a little annoying, but it didn't make our stay any less enjoyable. We didn't say anything because, as pet owners, we know it can be difficult to keep pets quiet in a new environment, so it wasn't worth causing the owner to feel bad!

Everything! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! They were incredibly accommodating with my late-night check-in, making the process smooth and hassle-free. The staff went above and beyond by arranging airport shuttle service for me after being stranded by TownePlace Suites by Marriott Asheville West which was a huge relief after a long day of travel. The room was comfortable and clean, making it the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone needing a convenient and welcoming stay!

Lovely property, Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our needs. We arrived in the early morning hours after many flight delays. Jess, the night auditor, was very kind and understanding. She offered a late check out, but we needed to get on the road. That was much appreciated. She also made an excellent breakfast recommendation@ She's a keeper!

Honestly nothing, Our stay was so short, but we got a wonderful sleep in your comfortable beds!

LOVE the outdoor space. We stayed here (paying a little more) because of the firepits. Multiple firepits and conversation spots; Music; A little road noise, but overall pretty peaceful for being right next to the interstate. I enjoyed relaxing there in the evening and the early morning with a cup of coffee. Rooms were clean. Obviously, this is an older hotel that was renovated, so while the rooms aren't huge, the use of space is excellent. Beds were comfy. There's a little road noise, but not terrible. We were too tired to go out, so we ate at the on-site restaurant. Food was good -- not fancy, but quick, good and hit the spot. Proximity to Biltmore Estate is very good and gives easy access. Moose Cafe is close by and excellent for a Southern breakfast.

Would have appreciated it if breakfast was included. It was $13 for a breakfast of eggs, sausage, and toast --- all fare that is typically free at a comparable hotel. In fact, I'd say it was more limited than many "free" breakfasts at comparable hotels that cost less. We opted not to pay for it and went out. Several of the staff actually didn't know how to use the firepits. I trained one new desk clerk, so I would say make sure everyone is trained well on that from the start since it is a huge feature of the hotel.

Superior accommodations after horrible night at another hotel company the night before in Tarrytown, NY. Had never been to Hilton Gardens before and now will be looking for them!

For us as senior citizens, a walk in shower rather than a tub. Minor issue, right?

There were several hairs on the sheet and another very long one one on a pillow. I called the staff and we were immediately moved to another room. It may have been the only room available, but I didn't see that many people there. Our new room was across the hall from the ice machine and a family with a crying baby. When I first checked in, the staff told me he put us on the "quiet" end. And, it truly was!! I don't know, maybe the hotel was booked and all that was left was the room next to the ice machine and noisy family.

I paid extra for breakfast, not expecting cold cereals, yuck. For extra Money, not worth it. Should be better advertising

Confusion regarding breakfast. Paid extra in hotel charge. Apparently Girls event of which I not part. Not told at entry that extra only cold cereals, not scrambled eggs or bacon. Usurped into their food. Then given a hassle by bar personnel to payment. Finally asked only give tip. In reality, how can a person eat that much scrambled eggs, cup of coffee? Seemed so ridiculous and annoying.

Very easy to check in, our room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The location is directly off of the highway and easy to navigate the local Asheville area. We will absolutely stay here again!

Very minimal gripe, but I would rather have breakfast included and just add it to our rate. It was a minor inconvenience.

The property was good for access to everything

I added a second night when I checked in and the Desk person said no problem it will be a couple of dollars more for Friday. I should have clarified because a couple of dollars more was $100 dollars more or about 35%. Well you live and learn.

Didn’t like having to pay for breakfast. Same breakfast items included with other hotels. Will look for other hotels next time. (Marriott).
