The location is fantastic. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was great and it had everything that we needed. There were plenty of towels which was greatly appreciated. There are dishes, utensils, dish soap and paper towels. The beds were pretty comfortable. The ac units worked great. There was even a broom to sweep up the sand we tracked in.

Parking is an issue as there are not many spaces. Noise from disrespectful neighbors was a problem but the staff was so prompt and took care of it immediately. There are a few things that could be upgraded here to make things even better but they are minor issues. The water pressure in the shower was low. The shower curtain does not keep water in and made a huge mess. There’s not really anywhere to sit down other than the bed. There’s nowhere to hang clothes and the one chest is too small for more than a couple of nights. The toilet paper is very thin.

My stay here was absolutely amazing. At first I thought it was a little sketchy because Ive never seen the passcode entry especially at a hotel & I arrived extremely later than expected. Although the office was closed when I arrived the manager stayed in contact with me the whole time on the way to Carolina beach. The hotel itself was very close to the beach literally walking distance & plenty of restaurants around the corner. It was very spacious & for the price we paid it was excellent. House Keeping did an excellent job as well when it came to providing whatever we needed. We also loved the 8ft pool. We definitely will be staying again when we come visit Carolina beach.

Parking could be a little bit better.

Location was good about 1.5 blocks from the public beach entrance and walking distance to various eateries and the boardwalk. The parking was fine. The rooms were clean and fairly up to date. The kitchenette was nice to have in the premium double. The electronic door locks were nice, so didn't have to worry about keys or a card.

4PM is pretty late check in, considering check out is 10am. Wish there was a mop or swiffer in the room to get rid of sand that inevitably gets in the room when at the beach. The bathroom shower controls were very old and I though the hot water knob was going to fall off.

The staff at this Inn were so helpful and friendly. I can’t give them enough stars! The room was cozy, up to date and very clean. Just a few minutes walk to the beach access, restaurants and Squigley’s Ice Cream. One of our favorite spots was the Veggie Wagon (another short walk). We got lunch there daily and took it to the beach with us. The lake next door hosted a Turtle Talk and Family Night. Both were well done and engaging. When we checked into the Dry Dock Inn, we never moved the car again. It’s that convenient to everything!

We arrived in the area early, so I asked if we could still park in the parking lot and enjoy the beach til check-in time. I got an immediate response, sure! Then they gave us even better news. Our room was ready early and we could go ahead with check-in. I was so elated! I also loved that it was contactless. This made it a smooth and easy experience. Our room was clean, with plenty of towels and washcloths, supplies to clean our dishes, and a pool that went to 8ft. This might just be me, but I love that it was all hardwood flooring, no carpet!

The Dry Dock Inn is an amazing place to stay at while vacationing at Carolina Beach. The Inn is located in what I consider a prime area. It's within walking distance to the Boardwalk, the Lake, along with other places to eat. This saved us from having to drive anywhere and not to mention, not having to pay to park. My car never moved until it was time to leave. Check in was a smooth transition being via text. Uploaded my information, paid my refundable security deposit and got my code. Once I arrived I found my parking pass and the room was very clean. It's a cute place and I absolutely love the common area. We spent several hours every day out there enjoying the peace and quiet. The beds were soft, water pressure was amazing. I had the BEST hot shower. The towels, wow, they were the softest I've ever had and trust me, I've traveled all across the USA and have never had towels this soft (they beat the Hilton too). I actually met Cameron and he was so nice and sweet. We felt very welcomed and valued staying here. They would check in on us daily to ensure our needs were being met. I highly recommend this place and I will be back. Thank you Dry Dock Inn for a relaxing no stress stay.

It was a great location- loved the pools and really liked that we needed a code for our rooms, it was nice to not have to keep up with a key. We had a kitchenette- but also had dishes and silverware provided. What a great bonus!

The toilet paper was thin, so I’d say bring your own if you have a preference. Also- they say you can buy ice at the office, but if you are a late riser, they run out fast so we were out of luck.

Everything was fresh and clean. The cost was very reasonable. The location was the best. We were minutes from the beach and the grandstand by foot.

We booked the day before while vacationing through booking.com. We were contacted immediately by a property agent to pay the security deposit. I asked could we pay on arrival and the agent said yes. Yet we were contacted repeatedly after trying to get us to pay in advance. It was somewhat annoying.

Great location! Loved having a pool too. All the staff were friendly and helpful!

There isn’t daily room cleaning which is fine if just there for a weekend but we stayed a week and no matter how hard you try, sand gets everywhere. That said, we asked midweek and got fresh towels and a room clean. The rooms were a little smaller than I expected. There weren’t places to hang towels and bathing suits to dry after the beach/pool.

This place is amazing! I loved the self check in with code to the door and the rooms were clean. I also left my AirPods in the room and Dee emailed me saying she shipped them to my address. That is beyond amazing! Most places are not honest and won’t go out of their way to send back personal items. I will be staying here from now on when visiting Carolina Beach. Thank you so much!
