The staff was kind

The second day there was a power outage and my paralyzed, wheelchair bound son was unable to get ready for the day, and he became very anxious that he was seemingly stuck on the 3rd floor. I had to ask the staff to please call the local fire department to provide him a way out. After some convincing, he agreed and was carried out in his chair, but this was more than a task. Family showed up to help his caregiver carry all their bags, and his care supplies down 3 flights of stairs. It would be nice to receive some sort of compensation, even though the staff was kind.

Room is like an apartment. Very spacious, a great bathroom, a great TV, and a kitchen for cooking.

The pillows are terrible

Breakfast was actually good for a hotel. I don't normally eat hotel breakfast often. Not a fan of powdered eggs and precooked bacon. However, their breakfast was actually decent. Beds were comfy, facilities were clean, staff was friendly. When we moved the sofa bed to make tv viewing for our kid better, it was actually clean behind it! Not something you find often. We had a little kitchenette which was nice. They also accommodated our dog which was great. Overall, would recommend.

Space between the tub and toilet was tight but no big deal.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The rooms were very clean & modern. The staff was courteous. The breakfast was very good also. We were there for a show at the PNC Music Pavilion, which was a 7 minute drive away. Also conveniently located to shopping and Charlotte Speedway was a walkable distance away. The price was also great.

Best suite we’ve stayed in yet! We hope all Homewood Suites are set up this way. We’re already looking at their other locations to plan our next getaway.

The “constant on” fan button didn’t work so the on and off of the fan kept waking us up. And the drapes didn’t close so the lights from the pool area also kept us from sleeping well. Should be easy fixes for your corporate team.

Great Breakfast, location convenient

Wow! I took my 6 year old kid for a quick trip to Charlotte and the original hotel we had ( which was only $10 less than homewood) pool was shut down and they didn’t tell us prior to checkin which is what my kid really wanted so I booked homewood suites and WOW! It was beautiful place. Rooms were huge, staff were nice and helpful, my kid thought it was cool they wrote welcome and my name on the TV. This would 100% be my hotel choice if I come back to the area and I was surprised at the quality different between the two hotels for only $10 difference.

Note when late check out is requested so staff don’t knock prior to agreed upon time asking if you’re leaving.

Gen Steele was the manager and she was so helpful and accommodating. On the way out a meal was left from dinner and she herself went back up to the room to grab it. She also checked on my guest and I each time she saw us in the hotel . Gen had very great customer service.

The property was wonderful .

The location was perfect. When my party arrived we were received excellent check in service. The front desk clerks, both check in and out, were excellent. Our requests and expectations were met. Friendly, pleasant , accommodating and professional service

The breakfast was ok but not great. I was a little disappointed

place was very clean, staff wonderful and helpful. Due to A power outage, Did not receive breakfast, no water or electricity when we woke up. Got dressed in the dark. A gentleman in the lobby who worked there gave me a flashlight so I could use the bathroom. Staff went above and beyond during this issue
