I really love this lovely old hotel, I stay there a few times a year. The staff is always friendly and helpful, beds and bedding are comfortable and clean, shower is hot and spacious enough for even the tallest people. Hot beverages in the lobby and good food at the lower level Bistro. The smoking area is conveniently located although without shelter. Their valet service is awesome!!

I hate to criticize, I really love this hotel. But in the interest of full disclosure I will nitpick a little. While technically ADA compliant, the lobby and the elevators are on different levels with a service elevator up to the first floor from the lobby. Possible but time consuming and difficult. There was no microwave in the room, the drain plug in bathtub wouldn't allow for a bath, and the bathroom tissue was very poor quality. Pool temperature was good, but the hot tub wasn't hot. In spite of these things I keep going back. They treat me very well, and I love the beautiful old building.

Good location. Enjoyed the environment. Treated very well. Valet parking was good and efficient but the car was parked outside and one valet moved my seat making it difficult to get in.

The hot tub was cold the first night and really needed it to relax after a long day driving. Was told let it run it will warm up. Ran for an hour before giving up to no heat. Repeat nights it was great, almost too hot! Other guests are inconsiderate as for slamming doors but out of hotel's control. Valet parking is quite expensive for what it is.

We have all stayed in many hotels and were surprised by the spaciousness of the room and the cleanliness. The upkeep on the amenities was beyond expectation, and the staff was courteous and helpful. We will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The hotel could offer complimentary breakfast or leave the restaurant. We went to an event in the city and was starving when we got back to the hotel. There was nowhere to order food. It would have been nice to be able to order room service.

I love the architecture, it's an historic building, old and interesting. Beds are clean and comfy, rooms quiet and restful. Nice pool and whirlpool, nice smoking lounge outdoors. Good food at the bistro, as well. Valet parking service is excellent!!

It's an old building. Hallway carpets are loose, pool is freezing in the winter months. But I really love staying here, if it weren't so pricey I would do it more often.

You shouldn’t have to pay $35 per night for your car if you’re staying in the hotel.

Good location, safe and clean

Breakfast arrangements were a complete disaster. I have been travelling more than 30 years in my professional career and this was absolutely worst experience ever! Breakfast needs to be ordered separately# no clear choices, slow service and finally received wrong portion! Why not to have buffee type of breakfast like all others have. Even thought the hotel was good# I won't be using it next time due to breakfast arrangements.

My room was clean as can be, the bed was very comfy, the tv remote was clean and bagged, all the curtains were dust free and the thermostat worked! The bathroom was spotless! The lobby was decorated so nice for the holidays. The staff members were wonderful!

A few more regular coffee "pods" but no big deal because the lobby had delicious coffee just an elevator ride away!

The location was perfect to walk to the concert. The staff was wonderful especially Rick. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The view of our room was at a parking lot but it was okay because we were there to sleep.

The hotel was very nice and well kept. The room was a decent size and my friends and I loved the pool and hot tub which was a large factor in booking this hotel. It is still downtown, but it is on a less busy side street which was very nice to not be as loud or busy.

I thought the price for one day of value parking was quite high. There was not a cheaper option for just parking the car and retrieving when you leave which is what we did. When I booked I was unaware of the $30 valet fee. The food and drinks in the lobby are overpriced as well.

I thought it was really weird the way they had the TV and the bed situated the TV was like off to the side so we had to turn our heads to watch the TV I don't know why they wouldn't have put the bed against the other wall so you can look straight at the TV so that was just a bit uncomfortable trying to watch TV
