Upon arrival I decided to use the valet service and was very pleased with the staff. Friendly and helpful. Our luggage was taken to our room for us and also loaded up and taken out to our car when we left as well. This is service I was not expecting but it was very much appreciated. Everyone we spoke with was very helpful and friendly and our room had a beautiful view of the city and was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning for our future trips!

We didn’t have any problems

Honestly, the hotel itself was nice and definitely kid/family friendly; admittedly, it was a bit hefty on the pricing, considering you are charged for absolutely all extras (breakfast, parking, etc). That said, it was the staff that made the hotel exceptional! They were helpful, patient, understanding and even made my daughter (we stayed for her 7th birthday as part of celebrating) feel absolutely special and added that extra bit of care and love to make her birthday a memorable one! The lady at the front desk during our check in, Mya I believe to be her name, was the sweetest, kindest and most thoughtful staff member I’ve ever encountered at any/all of my stays at hotels in my 40 yrs of life…and I have travelled a lot and stayed at countless hotels across the states, as a military spouse…so that speaks volumes as to how wonderful she was!

The pricing per night, coupled with the pricing of every single extra service like breakfast and parking, all of which was a bit high and accumulated quickly, making it hard to justify returning. If the nightly price included breakfast and/or parking, it could potentially change feelings on that aspect.

Room was very spacious and clean! The hotel is in a great location to walk to many bars, restaurants, and entertainment spots. Andrew, at the front desk, was super helpful and gave awesome restaurant recommendations!

The night before our early morning flight, we asked the hotel to call us a taxi. When we got to the lobby, a taxi was there, but apparently was not our taxi. We had to wait another 15 minutes for a new taxi and it was quite stressful!

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Columbus, OH for a week in January 2024 while attending the US Figure Skating Championships at Nationwide Arena. We were offered a room on the top floor, as an upgrade. The room faced the Arena a few blocks away and we could tell if it was raining or not. We decided to arrive a day later than our reservation, and booking.com assisted in making this change without any penalty. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant and one or two lunches. The food was very good. We used the valet parking. It made arriving and departing very convenient although it was more expensive than self-parking.

The room had an ice box but not a microwave, so we had to eat some cold pizza. You may be able to request a microwave. If we got out of bed in the middle of the night, floor lights under the beds automatically went on to see our way to the bathroom. It was unexpected and seemed bright. There were only two small drawers to unpack in. There was empty wall space under the TV. Perhaps other rooms may have an additional dresser.

The room was clean and comfortable.

I understand that the valet parking was a little overwhelmed during our stay and we were told it would be a 45 minute wait to retrieve our car. My husband and I arrived out front after 42 minutes and or car was there. The attendant was rude and said he was going to take our car back if we hadn’t shown up when we did. When my husband tried to explain we were told the wait was 45 mins the attendant interrupted him and didn’t let him finish.

Perfect location for the concert we attended at Nationwide Arena. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Great view of city from the room. There was actually a restaurant, a bar and a convenience store within the hotel so everything was really convenient. Staff was very friendly. It was a great place to stay.

The only inconvenient thing about this hotel room was that there was no microwave in the room and the kids had to go to the second floor to warm up their noodles. Otherwise everything else was great.

Back view, though. When I called seeking help when the shower had only cold water, the person who responded said the whole building had a problem, and I needed to be shifted from that room. When I called the housekeeper, they came to the room to check, and the water was fine. I just could not understand the first person's response.

I like that it was close to places I wanted to go , that it was clean, had a coffee shop, restaurant and convenience stores also staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very big and accommodating to big groups and organizations which is fine but we had a bunch of young adults around on our floor and in the rooms beside us that were very loud and I heard a lot of clicks at the door like someone trying to open our door. Hated your brown cheap toilet paper!

We were in town for Galaxycon. if you didn't want to leave the building you wouldn't have to. Plenty of restaurants and connecting pathways to and from convention center and the parking garage.

Literally the only negative was the continuously full elevators on Saturday night and Sunday morning. both of which can be explained by high volume of people for the convention and check out the next day.

The location was lovely. Right downtown, adjacent to the arts district. The room was well appointed, tastefully decorated, well lit, with very comfortable beds, lots of plugs, safe, fridge, ridiculously large television, and nice little desk and comfy chair. In room desperation coffee as well. Good water pressure.

The public spaces are a bit dated, just because of the architecture. Getting to and from the parking garage via skyway is labyrinthine (going through multiple sections, buildings, skyways, ramps, escalators, and has poor/inadequate way-finding signage.) The killer for me though is that the acoustic separation between rooms is inadequate. I could hear conversations of people in the next room, and they weren’t being unreasonably loud. So, even though there was a very comfy bed, I got almost no sleep.
