We really liked how easy the staff made it to get checked in and settled. We arrived close to midnight and they were waiting for us with all our details. The room was fine. Average size and needs. No microwave, but the lobby had one for ease of use when needed. There was a tiny fridge, just enough room for some water bottles and juice for the kids. The breakfast options were great! The pancake machine was fun, the kids loved watching them being made, and the topping options were vast. Everything tasted good and fresh and they kept it well stocked and clean. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but next time we will for sure because it looked fun! There were lots of ice machines and the one in the lobby area actually had a water bottle refill station, which was perfect since we brought our own bottles to fill. Highchairs and boosters were available to use during breakfast too, great since we were traveling with littles. There was a coffee bar with lots of fun options for coffee, tea, and cocoa. Loved that!

The bathroom was clean, but the door didn't actually close or lock and the shower door was crooked, so it made the floor pretty wet. Small things but annoying when you have little kids. There was a really weird smell in the room and the bathroom smelled gross, but it felt clean, at least. We did wish there were options for non-dairy for breakfast. My kids have a lactose allergy and we didn't see anything except 2% milk. Not a huge deal, just not great for their tummies. Coffee was weak, but that's to be expected at most hotels honestly.

I enjoyed everythin, no complaints. Staff provided expectational customer service and were always there if I needed them. The facilities and my room were very clean. Location is very safe and has lots of restaurants and activities in the area. I will definitely be staying again in the future.

Only thing I did not care for, I had to go downstairs to use the microwave but staff explained to me it was due to eliminating the exposure of radiation. Totally understandable.

A convenient location. Very familiar with the area near Kings Island amusement park in Ohio.

We booked a room thru Booking.com for April 3. The reason for the trip was cancelled. I cancelled with Booking on 3/29. On 4/1 Booking sent a notice that they had not heard from Tru and suggested I call Tru directly. I spoke with a helpful rep on 4/1. He called the front desk and said "good news" that I would be refunded and no cancellation fee. I have not gotten a refund. We will be making this trip when rescheduled and would like to stay at Tru. Refund, please?

Clean, comfortable, good amenities, good breakfast selection.

Our room smelled like sewage on arrival. Working in restaurants my entire life along with my girlfriend that worked in restaurants for years, we figured out that it was dry drains in the floor of the bathroom. Each bathroom has a large drain. If not filled with some water and cleaned regularly it will have nothing blocking the sewage smell from coming up from the septic. Also, put a microwave in the rooms.

The breakfast had a huge variety of foods to pick from. Kids loved the pool table. Staff were extremely friendly.

First room we were given had a little bit of mold. Told the front desk staff and they immediately changed our room to another. No issues in the new room and everything was very clean.

Modern. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Location for Kings Island Amusement Park. Just off I-71. Safe area.

Toilet got blocked which is a common problem at many USA hotels. USA toilets don't seem to be very well designed. Flashing light on smoke alarm in room was slightly annoying.

Clean. Newer hotel.

While the staff was not unfriendly, the gentleman seemed difficult to work with. No one was at the check-in desk when we arrived for quite a while. And then the room he put us in, someone was already checked into that room. We had a golden retriever dog with us, who is very friendly, but the gentleman acted as if it was a wild animal. It was very strange.

They were kind enough to let us check in a couple hours early. The staff was very friendly.

In our room the bathroom door needed to be adjusted so it didn't drag on the floor. You can't open the door all the way. This was another shower with a weak stream. I think this is a trend in the hotel industry. The other trend I don't care for is no housekeeping unless you're there for four or more days. Maybe I'm just old school but when you're paying close to $200 a night. Fresh towels, a made bed and some empty garbage would be nice.

Awesome breakfast choices, servers kept bringing out fresh food and the "to go" box was a great add on. One of our favorite, most likeable and accommodating employees, was Sai, who demonstrated great customer service skills in addition to the above mentioned attributes.

Our first room, the bathroom was filthy had not been thoroughly cleaned, there was feces on the wall. However, upon notifying management, they quickly moved us to another room that was fully cleaned and appropriate.

We enjoyed the friendly and welcoming customer service attendant and atmosphere. The hotel was very well kept and clean. The breakfast was very good with variety a of choices. The room was clean and beds comfortable. I would absolutely return and recommend to friends and family.
