The Campfire Hotel is a sweet haven of the "makers district" in Bend. The remodel is such a cute and fun theme. The hotel has a great pool and spa, and they offer a lot of places to hang out on the property. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is near Downtown Bend and waterfront; only a few minutes drive and a 20 minute walk if you feel comfortable walking in the industrial area for a bit. My husband and I stopped here for 2 nights on our Honeymoon and they comped us a mimosa bucket to help us celebrate. It was a great experience!
As this is a remodel of an old local inn there are still some kinks being ironed out; our AC worked but started squeaking loudly in the middle of the night and we had to turn it off but it worked again the next day just fine. As everywhere, they are low on staff and so their Canteena was closed the days we were there. Hotels cannot control everyone and everything, our vehicle smelled of smoke the next day due to people smoking in the parking lot.

I was drawn to this hotel due to it's theme and location as I was visiting for a concert at the amphitheater. I arrived at night and it was nice to see the grounds lit up with lights in the trees, it enhanced the feel of the hotel and made it feel safer. There was also a fire going that people were gathering around. The room I got had everything I need, including a large TV and an electric kettle for coffee which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, had nice pillows, and there were ear plugs available if needed. In the room there were items available for purchase like candy, popcorn, bath items, and alcoholic drinks which is a nice touch. I didn't partake in any of that but I like that it is an option. I didn't get to check out the pool on this trip, but hope to next time I stay.
There was construction going on the side street by the hotel next to the second building. The construction hindered the ability to come in and out of the parking lot during the daytime hours. I wasn't informed of this when checking in. I feel like a "heads up" would have been nice. I also noticed upon entering my room the trash was not taken out from the previous guests, the main trash can in the room was half full.

I love that it was dog friendly!! Our stay came with treats and a couple of poop bags for my fur babies. Property was so cute at night with the lights in the trees and the big fire pit with seating all around it, just like the property’s namesake. Pool was heated!!!! Also, in the morning they have a food truck selling burritos (Burrito Sunrise) and another one selling coffee (Travellin’ Tom). Room opened with keycard and room was stocked with snacks and stuff for the bath (they charge if you consume). Our room came with this blanket that kept us warm at night. Other amenities provided was a mini fridge (stocked with a lot of local beer - charge if consumed), microwave, hairdryer, TV, towels, heater/ac unit. I appreciated everything about the room and the property.
Parking lot not continuous and locking the door from inside the room required effort (as in jamming the door shut with my shoulder in order to get the deadbolt locked).

We came here for an overnight stop on tour and got seven rooms. The rooms were super cool and comfortable. My team of six wished we could stay another night. Even in November, the outdoor elements like the heated pool, hot tub, and bonfire were very enjoyable. We also enjoyed the welcoming bar and lobby area. Saff were extremely kind and helpful.
No breakfast included, but they now sell some things and there is a Mexican food cart outside in the morning. The parking lot was not large enough for our truck, but finding safe side street parking was east.

The room were so fun and comfortable. We loved all the snacks and drinks available for purchase and really loved all the ambient lights outside in the evening, it made it a magical wonderland. It was all so campy and fun! We enjoyed talking with the staff and also hanging out at the bar for Karaoke. We met some nice people there and hope to return in the near future. A big thank you to the front desk staff for making our stay warm and welcome.
A 12 or 1 pm check out time would have been better for us. the tub spigot was dripping continuously but these little things are easily nothing in comparison to the whole package of our stay.

Lots of fun amenities, fire pit swimming pool, yummy breakfast burrito cart on property along with coffee truck, very friendly staff location was good but on busy road and was perfect for bringing our dog.
A little rundown, the hours on the pool and fireplace should be lengthened pool opening earlier and fireplace staying open a little longer would be preferred. But it is perfect for families & people with pets. Although it’s a little noisy due to clientele and proximity to main road, earplugs are by the bedside and are very helpful.

Beds were nice, rooms look great, bar by lobby is good, pool is great
they don't tell you that there is another building across the street, which is further away from the pool. Parking at this place is a joke, they over sell the rooms, so if you go into downtown at night you will have to park across the street at restaurant or worse on the street. There are homeless camping nearby which will make you nervous. they say 10pm is quiet time but that just means the fire pit goes out, people make noise til after midnight. Another thing, the hotel is basically on a highway, noisy, packed with cars during rush hour.

Checking in was quick and simple, and the staff was very welcoming. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with plenty of room to move around. We spent some time in the pool which was really nice and they even had some music for us to enjoy. The campfire once nighttime set in was a nice touch. The overall vibes were excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
While the bar easily provided drinks while at the pool, food was more difficult to get.

The property is super cute all lit at night and there’s a heated pool with hot tub as well! The Canteen restaurant had amazing cocktails and yummy snacks! I had a ginger mocktail and the fish and chips which were a very generous portion for a GREAT price!
I originally was placed in a room right by the main road (3rd st) and it was SO loud. My next door neighbors were also up making a bunch of noise but the front desk was on top of it as soon as I complained! Ultimately I ended up wanting change rooms as I am pregnant and needed some good rest! The front desk (AJ) was soooo helpful though and got me into a great new room with no issues.

Everything. It gave us such a good feeling, the ambiance!
Everything was ok ……although the bathrooms could be cleaned better around the all the edges. Behind our bathroom door was dirt and hair. They must not have mopped it either as they should have seen it. 😩😩This happens a lot in nice places we stay.It is also a good Idea to run the vac hose along the carpet edges as well. The vacs don’t always pick it up . It shouldn’t take but an extra 10 minutes out of their scheduled time per room. If that. No hose then furnish the team with a little hand vac. They are cheap! We will be checking the bathrooms and etc if we stay here again. Next time I will call housekeeping to have them clean it up before we unpack. Thank you, Jan
