Beautiful historic furnishings, comfortable beds, extremely spacious.. The hotel is located in a historic townhouse. The location was perfect for our visit to Philadelphia's Magic Gardens and within walking distance of Philadelphia's most historic neighborhoods. .There were good restaurants nearby, plus we were a couple of blocks from South Street. The management was very responsive to our questions.

We liked everything about the hotel...it is not a full service hotel, but good meals and morning coffee are easily accessible.

I love the refrigerator so that I could go buy my own items for breakfast at the Whole Foods Market, which is two blocks down the street and I could have coffee in the room with the coffee maker and delicious fresh ground coffee in Victorian ceramic pottery. I love the Italian restaurant on the corner And the area was convenient to get to the subway so I could get to the ballpark. Directions were clear for the code into the main hallway and up the stairs to my room that had its own code. Love this little place.

This is a beautiful property! The room was clean and self check-in was so easy. The innkeeper was so helpful answering my questions. Loved the location, we had a great stay and I highly recommend!

Great location to see the liberty bell, museums, Phili Eagles game as well as a places to eat in the area. Beds were comfortable. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel

I loved this boutique hotel! It’s quiet and the location is so good.

My only negative feedback is that the mattress in the room we stayed in should be replaced - it’s sagging in the middle for sure.

Cool historical rooms with coffee and sugars

A bed and breakfast should probably offer breakfast. Would be nice to have a common area available for guests like a living room

Service was terrific. The team are so friendly and accommodating. I definitely will come back when I am next in the city - no doubt about that.

This location, the property and my room were all incredible. I sent pictures to friends and got responses like "It look's like Paris". The décor, the amenities and the furnishings were so tastefully done. the property and the room were a vacation in themselves. The location - there is so much in walking distance to get the true "hilly vibe. A week wouldn't give you time to try all the restaurants you'd want to try!

The one drawback is parking can be challenging and I was forewarned by the staff before I arrived. For me, I drive a truck and it doesn't fit in many of the local garages (6'6" clearance) but if you have a car, this will not be an issue, part of the fun of every city is deciphering their "Parking Signs" - lol!! and I managed to find a spot and never moved it again :)

Prompt phone contact with manager to answer questions. Cleanliness of room. Historical period furnishings with fresh updates. Microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. Light and bright. Easy check-in and no check-out. Location.

Over time brighten/restore stairwells and stair case. Such an interesting part of the structure.

Great location for a reasonable price. The bathroom tub also had water jets!
