I had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at this hotel and couldn't be happier with my choice. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The Property: The hotel has a sleek, modern design that immediately impressed me. Everything felt fresh and contemporary, creating a sophisticated atmosphere throughout. Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The valet service was particularly convenient and hassle-free, making arrival and departure seamless. Accommodations: My room was beautifully appointed with modern furnishings and impeccably clean. The attention to detail was evident, and the comfort level was better than I had anticipated for the price point. Standout Feature: The rooftop bar is absolutely phenomenal! The views are breathtaking and create the perfect ambiance for an evening out. This alone makes the hotel worth staying at. Value: For the quality of service, amenities, and overall experience, this hotel offers excellent value for money. Final Thoughts: This was the perfect choice for a weekend getaway. Decor was quite nice - the room looked good and the cosy space was designed well. There was a place to put everything we needed. The air con/ heat was excellent. The windows had a double blind system to completely or partially block light - very effective. Location was great to walk to various restaurants and cafes in the area. The best thing was the bed - one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Lots of nice linens and good pillows. Lovely lady at the coffee bar taking breakfast orders - she was a real gem.

Staff was perfunctory at best. Desk staff gave us the wrong information about breakfast twice. The parking situation is really atrocious - you simply have to have a place for guests to unload cars and check in without being hassled by valets to move. Parking is insanely expensive at almost 30$ a day but that is to be expected in Pittsburgh. Street parking was possible, though.

Close to the stadium and to where my friends were staying, so Uber rides were quick and reasonable. Some restaurants close by, Starbucks was KEY! Room was small but perfect for 1 guest. Facilities were modern and operating fine. Had a problem with one of the blinds, but one of the TRYP Team members came right up and got it working in a few minutes! Bed was super comfortable.

Didn't like the fact it was $25 a day PLUS $10 a day to Valet the car. I will rethink this next time if I stay here. I never took the car out the 2 days I was there. I guess I basically paid for city parking! No small fridge, but wasn't a huge negative.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. The room was spacious, and spotless, with all the amenities I could need. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast, in particular, was great. The location was another huge plus, as it was conveniently close to the beach. I forgot my pillow (that my mom gave me) I called, and they saved it so my friend could go there to pick it up. Now I have my pillow. Thank you, guys,

Room was clean and comfortable; everything looked great - decor; great location

I didn't like that we HAD to valet at around $26 for the night, plus tip to park and pick up, and the car was literally parked right there about 20 feet from the valet stand - we could see it from our room, So close that when we picked up the car, the valet literally handed us the keys to drive it away. That just seemed silly and no reason to pay for that.

like the rooftop bar but didn’t to this time. like the family room and bathroom with a privacy door.

the breakfast restaurant - Americano coffee was not good. small muffin at $5 was way overpriced. couldn’t get avocado toast. lunch menu was also very limited. wish they open the bar are a with full dinner menu as lunch time. the windows have light blocking shades but they are placed halfway down in tall windows and couldn’t be brought down to block our lights for sleeping

Large, comfortable room and bed. Great location in a safe and interesting neighbourhood.

Room could have been cleaner - I'm not sure it was fully serviced before I moved into it - and the service (change of bedding, towels etc) after 3 days didn't happen. The noise from the street was fine but the occasional periodic shuddering of the building during the day was annoying.

Quiet room, good temperature control and insulation. The toilet doesn't offer a lot of privacy -- there's just a sliding door separating it from the shower and there is no door to the shower / toilet area. We had the micro-queen room. The bed was on the soft side and there wasn't a lot of room on either side of it (and only one nighttable). The neighborhood is very fun and it was easy to check in and out and to get street parking on the weekend.

The atmosphere and decorations were very neat; directly across from the entrance of the hotel there is a large wall mural to admire. The staff were very friendly, our room was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the television, amenities in room and bathroom, as well as the television.

There was not much to dislike. The food area in the building did not have the gluten-free bun that was written on the board, which was disappointing; but the food and drink I ended up ordering was delicious nonetheless.

Great location in a vibrant neighborhood. Interesting historic building made the stay fun.

Over Eden, a rooftop space at the hotel, was booked for special events and not able to be enjoyed for most of our stay. Perhaps TRYP’s business model may skew toward more profitable special events such as weddings etc. My room with a queen size bed was so small that one had to crawl on the bed to get access from one side. I’m average sized. The property was a bit sleepy over all.
