first off the location is perfect. its nestled away in it own spot with trees in all directions. the reviews that say you are next to a highway are true but you are definitely far enough where even standing outside you hear no traffic. speaking of which beautiful outside garden. I am very picky when i book hotels. all those bad reviews and good reviews i read to find a decent one.....this was the perfect one. the staff were super friendly and incredibly accommodating. everything was clean and nice. seriously if you are trying to book a hotel in the area and are getting mixed signals reading the reviews for this place like i was, choose this place. you wont regret it. exceeded our expectations.

bit of a maze if your in the back. room we were in used to be a joint room so we heard people in the room next to us a bit when they were being loud. nothing a little ambient music cant drown out.

The hotel was quiet and the bed comfortable. The shower was clean and there was plenty of hot water. The couch had a lamp next to it and I was quite comfortable reading a book there.

The fire alarm went off around 10:30 am while I was in the pool area. I had to go to the front desk to make sure I didn't have to evacuate. It would have been better if there was a way the front desk could communicate with guests that the alarm was accidentally triggered.

I had a great experience during my stay. The hotel was super clean — everything from the lobby to the room felt fresh and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. It's clear that they take pride in their service and upkeep. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Conveniently located to Washington Memorial where we were attending a funeral. Rooms and public areas all very clean and well maintained

Elevator was somewhat inconveniently located. It was extremely cold in the lobby area where we gathered after the funeral. We were told that the hvac runs on a “seasonal” program and that the staff can’t override it. The challenge was that it was in AC and the temps outside were chilly and wet.

I loved the location it was back out the way. They remodeled and painted, so everything was clean and neat. The bistro was nice to get really cooked food. The outside patio area was beautiful little to chilly for me to sit out there but would have loved to. I also loved that the hotel wasn't far from shopping stores. It was my first time in Philadelphia, and it was enjoyable 😉

The only issue was we were on the end where they were remodeling, and it was kind of noisy but not enough to complain or move the room about. Also, my refrigerator went out, and our food and my insulin were in there and went bad. But they were very understanding about the situation and took a day off for me.

A very nice dog friendly hotel with easy access to outdoor greenery. Attractive, clean room—actually a suite—that was well priced. Food in the “cafe” was surprisingly good. Will definitely spread the word among all my friends who travel with dogs.

Location was great. Clean. The refrigerator was handy.

Limited room amenities. Only two small glasses for the room. A few extra would have been nice. Towels were thin and threadbare. I had requested extra pillows and never got them.

We checked in very late. I tried to book a room on Booking.com but it did not come into the system. Connie was extremely helpful. She checked us in quickly and told us she would take care of cancelling the booking.com reservation. We were pleasantly surprised with the size and comfort of the beds. We also appreciated the shower versus bathtub set up.

One elevator for a very large facility was very difficult with an elderly guest who has trouble walking. Signage to the elevator is lacking, so I would suggest clearer and more signs to elevator and perhaps lettering or numbering system for parking area/exits.
