The breakfast was very good, waffles and grits were exceptional. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful, especially with directions to my phone and computer hookup. Starting with our check-in around 7PM on Friday until our departure on Sunday around 8AM, the staff were so very helpful. The housekeeping person helped us with the temperature in the room and did an awesome cleaning job. My thanks to all of them for their friendliness, helpfulness and knowledge of the area.

When I made the reservation, I was told that there was free parking. Upon arrival I was advised that there was a daily charge of $10. I was disappointed at the misinformation.

There was one shady lady looking for cigarettes outside the hotel.i wish they had a pool.however where the pool was or should have been was a nice sitting area for the guest to congregate or smoke. My son did find religious material left in the public restroom. Not against the content at all but telling someone a drink or loud music is going to send them to hell is not nice.

Hotel looks brand new. Smells like fresh baked cookies and new paint. Fixtures and furniture and decor are all modern contemporary. Bed was comfortable, room was well appointed with coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator, big screen TV with streaming services. Place was spotless and clean. Staff were cordial and professional. Breakfast was excellent with several choices, something for everyone. Free parking on site. Convenient location in downtown Columbia.

My only complaint, which other reviewers have also mentioned, was that my room faced Huger street, a busy Columbia thoroughfare, and traffic noise went on through the night. I use a sleep sounds white noise app on my phone with a small Bluetooth speaker which helped alleviate some of that.

This hotel was quiet and comfortable. I chose this hotel because it was near the river and there were plenty of walking trails for us to check out. We even drove (30 minutes) to Congaree National Park to walk along the 2 mile boardwalk. There were lots of great restaurants within a five minutes drive from the hotel as well.The free parking at the hotel was a huge plus!

There weren't any restaurants within a short walking distance (a two block radius). Renting a car (or reserving a Lyft/Uber) is a must if you're not able to walk at least 1.5 miles (round trip) to get a bite to eat.

The room was very spacious and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I liked having a microwave and fridge in the room as well as a desk.

When I arrived at the front desk, there was a sign that said "We'll be right back." After 5 minutes, I tried calling the hotel but the phone that rang was right in front of me and no one came. I waited almost 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in. The same sign was up when I left the following morning at 10:30 am. Not a front desk person in sight!

Everything was great. The Inn was clean and quiet. The breakfast was good as well. The only issue was the house keeper, she was rude. She knocked the first time and I said we're not ready and my friend walked out the room to put some things in the car and all of a sudden she walked in the room while I was still getting ready check out is at 12 o'clock and it's like 11:45am.

reserved adjoining rooms or suites or next to one another. Daughter on 3rd floor, we were on 2nd floor. No pool or Jacuzzi. Bathroom downstairs filled with poop and did not flush. Not cleaned up from morning until 11 a.m. Flag on pole all tattered and a disgrace to America. My husband asked the desk to at least take it down, rather than keep it flying in that condition. Cost of hotel.

Location was a long way on foot from restaurants. Breakfast was mediocre. We stayed in a lot of hotels during this trip and all their breakfasts were bland and unimaginative. The lesson is to avoid hotel breakfasts and go out for breakfast in the USA. I don't remember if you provided plastic knifes, forks and spoons like everybody else, but if you did you should stop doing so. US hotels generate huge quantities of plastic and paper waste.

Breakfast highlight was the waffle maker and coffee, you may consider another waffle maker during peak times. Hotel staff very helpful, wasn't happy being surprised paying for parking even with handicap placard. Room is dark but comfortable, probably decline handicapped unit next time, not what we signed up for.

The hotel was v furnished with nice decor and very clean. Breakfast was good. I was glad to see oatmeal.

The staff was not very friendly . The front desk clerks were not dressed appropriately. The front desk staff had tight leggings and their tops looked like swimsuit tops . Their middle stomachs were showing. Their tops were too short. I could not believe it. They need to be furnished with some type of uniforms like khaki pants and polo shirts with hotel logo ..
