I had a great experience staying at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Memphis I-24. Driving to the hotel feels a little sketchy at first—it’s tucked away behind some buildings and in the woods, just off the interstate, and you cross a small bridge over a creek or river to get there. But don’t let that fool you—this is a very nice and well-kept hotel. One of the best parts was how safe I felt. The parking lot is gated, and you need a keycard to enter the building—twice—before even getting to your room. That added layer of security really gave me peace of mind. The room was spacious and cozy, more like a small suite. It had a soft bed with fluffy pillows, two TVs, a kitchenette, a living area, and a clean bathroom. The overall setup was perfect for relaxing or even getting some work done. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and incredibly attentive. During breakfast, a couple of spills happened (syrup and juice machine), and they jumped in immediately to clean everything up. Breakfast was also tasty and had a good variety of options. All in all, I’d definitely stay here again. It may look a little uncertain at first glance, but once you’re in, it’s clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming.

The keycard access to the pool from outside was broken during our stay, which was a minor inconvenience. Also, if you're a smoker, you’ll need to go to the designated area behind the hotel—there are tables and ashtrays, but there’s a $300 fine if you smoke anywhere else.

The room was great, lots of room. Nice and Clean. Breakfast was excellent! No one should miss out on it. The bed was comfortable.

Room I had was next to the incoming door from the gated parking lot. Occupants access by with room cards, Problem with the 2 entry doors into the hotel - the doors are very heavy and slam shut with loud bangs. Very disturbing for occupants that are close to these doors and to those who are sleeping (or trying to sleep). I realize the security of the heavy doors, but think there may be other doors that may shut more quietly, and are just as secure as the banging doors.

The service was great, everyone was polite and helpful. The free fresh cold water as you walk in lobby was so nice, the 24 hr access to the coffee machine was great, the pool was clean and warm, the king suite was had was super nice and lots of space, we loved having a full size refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom had lots of room and shower had good water pressure. We really enjoyed the before and even tho we were right before closing, the staff still make sure the food was stocked and we had what we needed, they even went and made eggs and sausage just for us. The whole property was clean, neat and was cute. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again

More towels by pool was our only complaint

The property is an old hotel that has been completely renovated. The decor was modern and the beds were comfortable. I loved that there was a separate sitting area with a pull out bed in the two queen bed room. The room was large enough to accommodate my family of five comfortably for two nights.

I didn’t like the general location of the hotel as it was kind of sketchy and lots of potholes in the street leading to the hotel. The hotel itself had a gated parking lot which offered some sense of safety. I also did not like that the room was not serviced daily. Housekeeping will ONLY take out your trash and exchange your towels unless you ask for COMPLETE service and then your bed will be made and floor vacuumed.

Loved how clean and safe it felt. The staff was incredible and very helpful. They put our room toward the front side of the building so our babies weren't exposed to the cigarette smoke from the smoking section towards the back of the building. Incredibly thoughtful of them. Loved the room itself, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and coffee bar were great :)

Check in was a little lengthy and difficult to sign the papers alone with a 5 year old and 9 month old in tow. Wish they would do digital so it was easier.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Memphis! The place was super clean, and the staff went above and beyond – special shoutout to Chatanaya, who was incredibly attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was a highlight with a great variety of options, from yogurt and fresh fruits to high-quality bread, eggs, chicken, and waffles. There was even a fountain of fresh juices and a cappuccino machine, which made mornings perfect. The gated parking added an extra layer of security for my car. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend this hotel!"

This hotel is the best in town for the price. It exceeded my expectations in many levels. A Great room, comfortable bed, great amenities and very nice breakfast are all included. Also, having a gated parking lot is a huge plus for Memphis. You can't find a better deal in Memphis for around $100 a night. The staff goes above and beyond to provide you with a great experience!!!!

Property was clean and can tell it was remodeled. I love that parking was fenced in.

Breakfast was not the best but it served it purpose. Housekeeping did nothing but change towels. Bed were not made and trash was not take even thought it was nicely in bags by door. Elevator took forever. The pool was nasty which was very disappointing for the kiddos.

The facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to everywhere I ventured out to. I attended a concert in South haven the weekend I stayed and was only about 25 mins away from that venture. Whenever I decide to stay in Memphis this will be the hotel of my choice.

The amenities were great. All day coffee bar. Gated fence with code access felt secured. No noise and comfortable beds.
