The staff was exceptional in friendliness, and everyone was welcoming. The pool, gym and breakfast were all very nice. Everything was clean. Our room was very clean as well as the gym, pool, breakfast area, and common areas. I would stay at this location again.

The room was smaller than I expected. I also was hoping for a washer and dryer. We were there for 4 nights. The first night we were there, several cars were broken into. I noted a lot of security on the following nights with no further incidents.

Breakfast was awesome , staff was awesome , location was awesome , the security and well lit parking was excellent , ice maker worked which was amazing , , love how there was hooks in the bathroom and a shelf and then some extra storage above the hanging rack , bed comfy ,the pet area was clearly marked

Not enough towels , the rooms are very small , garbage cans are tiny , the ac was not cool it seemed anyway to me , the lamp was cracked and rusted at the desk , the door to our room kept getting stuck

The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The shower was very good. The breakfast was good; thanks for having tasty Turkey Sausage!

I Did Not like that there's no complimentary items for ALL Hilton Honor members. Just because we have not earned the status of Platinum; we were refused a complimentary bottle of water/bag of chips. I think this is NOT cool and it does NOT make me feel like a Hilton Honored member!!!

Convenient location, felt safe, good air con for Memphis summer, friendly desk staff

The one negative was pretty serious, the toilet stopped up completely and nothing would go down. Fortunately it did not overflow. It happened on the morning of checking out so I did not get to see how quickly it was fixed.

Staff was exceptionally friendly. Greeted upon arrival and when coming to breakfast each morning. Facility was clean and comfortable. Free Parking!!! :-) Conveniently located close to University of Memphis.

Room was small - difficult to pull out desk chair as there is very little room between the end of the bed and the desk.

This Hampton Inn at Memphis Poplar is a good place to stay and sleep after a long drive, the location is not the best but is not the worst, it all depends where you going, the staff at night was courteous but do a card reader missfunction I was charged twice, next day the lady at front desk, fixed, she was friendly and courteous; the room was ok, good beds and clean, they provide us with extra towels as per our request and the Breakfast was Excellent !!

I got scare when saw the double charge do the card reader missfunction and also was charge a fee as deposit, I was not counting with that, I understand it will be refunded after few days, depends on my back to reflect, so if you travel under budget be careful !!

The room was very nice, spacious, and clean. The bathroom came with full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body gel and lotion attached to the walls. They served a full breakfast from 6am-10am. The staff were very polite and helpful.

I noticed some of the doors in the hall didn't shut all the way. Our hotel door didn't automatically shut when closed - it had to be pulled/pushed shut.

Staff very caring and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was good and lots of variety. The parking lot was safe and had security, which for us was great as we were moving out of Memphis University dorm and all our belongings were in the car.

I appreciated everything and the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Val and the lovely young lady with the beautiful long braids.

I wish the pool had been open because that was one of the reasons we booked there.

The property was fine

I just didn’t like that fact that I paid for a queen room with TWO Queen beds but instead I got a Queen room with one queen bed and a sofa bed and it was myself, my 2 children and my mom. The lady at the desk didn’t tell me that they were out of the double queen beds which is what I paid for. We ended up staying but I wasn’t comfortable being that I had to sleep on the sofa bed.
