ABSOLUTELY ,NO SIGN OF ROACHES. Which I thought since I paid $73 and not a high end facility that there would be. Was pleasantly surprised. AND FREE COFFEE , which is my go to, first thing in the morning, I was so happy. (Vending machines were fully stocked, with snacks). So if you're looking for free breakfast, not here. I also liked that you had to place your tag on your car to keep tabs on it, and cameras were constant on the parking , to monitor break ins.

The only thing I didnt like was the smell the first thing when we walked in was a combination of a sweet scent mixed with mold, which we figured might be from the air conditioner as it blew out. After a few minutes you'd get used to it, it was tolerable but when we would leave and return it was gross, and had to get used to it again. At one point we saw what we thought might be a homeless woman by the front entrance, she had a baby in a baby carrier, but we could be wrong. There were some people on foot passing by thru the parking lot, and there were groups of young men that apparently had stayed there and were outside waiting for their other partners. It just made me a bit nervous. Maybe they were car pooling.Who knows

This property is very clean and fresh smelling and is well maintained. Definitely a lot better than some three star properties I have stayed at. The facilities cover all the basics but there is no included breakfast, which given the price of the room, is understandable. Plenty of places nearby, some even in walking distance to get something to eat if necessary. Coffee is available in lobby and plenty of snacks in the vending machine. Overall, an excellent value for money. Beds were comfortable enough while not being the luxury mattresses you get in high end properties. Still only 15 to 30 minutes max drive time from property to most popular attractions downtown. So well located for both airport and trips into downtown. Would be happy to stay here again.

Not a dislike, more of a convenience thing would be a safe in the room. But given the value for money at the going price it’s just a thought.

The motel is in a convenient location, provides day and night parking lot security, clean facilities, a snack room/diner, courteous front desk service, well stocked bedrooms and bathrooms. I would highly recommend Motel 6 South Austin/Airport to anyone!

Maybe include bottled water in the mini fridges (either automatically or upon request). A hot breakfast could also be a plus, but I realize that requires more maintenance and staff. Including "do not disturb" door hangers would be nice too. These are simply nitpicks, because the motel was more than worth it's cost.

Comfortable, quiet, very clean with daily housekeeping. Even a clean shower curtain each day! Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing really to fault. Good regular bus service neary to go into town.

Not really a complaint, but the bed was actually a little too soft for me, resulting in slight backache. There are no general washroom facilities available for guests who've checked out but stay on in the breakfast area awaiting a late flight, as was my case. I had to walk to a nearby gas station which was a nuisance.

I love the customer service provided by all the staff, I arrived on July 9, I was coming from Houston since my apartment lost power and didn't get it back until Sunday the 14th. I left the next day on Monday, and during my whole stay, everything was wonderful, 10 out of 10, very clean, close to Lady Bird Lake and downtown, and Zilker Park, even the staff recommended parks to go to with my dog.

All good I don't have any complaints. Except for one guest that was very loud.

The hotel was very clean. It ranks up there with some of the more popular hotel brands. Much better than I was expecting. The staff was amazing, very helpful and accommodating. It is also less than 10 minutes from the airport. Easy drive or Uber to downtown. Glad we stayed! They certainly left the light on for us!

Not much within walking distance

I really liked the location. The facilities were very clean and the staff was super nice and helpful.

Not a major gripe but the walk from the parking lot to the main office is up a steep hill that definitely is a challenge. I wish the room would have included an iron and blow dryer. There is also no drawers to place your clothes so we just left everything in the suitcases.

The room (single occupancy ones) had enough sp ace for one person and a bus stop for Austin International Airport is a convenient 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room was cleaned up on entry and well tempered for the Austin heat! And the manager was so kind and understanding and a slight early check in. I recommend coming here especially if you want to save money by taking a bus (only 1.25 one way from the airport via #20 bus) and not spending 200 a night.

I honestly can't really complain. It is a Motel 8 after all. The rooms aren't entirely soundproof and you can hear anything that's in the hallway, but it is a budget hotel

Good location, very close to the airport. Room size is OK, the table with the sofa chair is really useful. Bathroom is big and clean. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room. Lots of parking space, but you have to walk uphill from the parking lot, which might be a problem for someone.

No hair dryer, no coffee maker. The air conditioner is very noisy had to turn off for the night. The fridge was also quite loud.

Hotel was easy to find and close to airport. Check-in was professional and quick. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but cute, clean, comfortable and affordable.

Parking was strange, especially if you have a lot of stuff to unload. You would have to unload at hotel then drive down hill and park. Water pressure and temperature were not good in shower. I had a difficult time getting shampoo out of my hair and had to continously adjust the water temp while showering.
