Convenient location, pleasant and comfortable small room

Only Instant coffee in the room, bath towels like sandpaper. Most important, don’t be deceived by “free drink and coffees” when you check in—you are paying for these through an automatic “amenity fee”—very deceptive practice in my mind.

We travelled to Dallas for the First Responder bowl at Gerald Ford Stadium on the SMU campus. The hotel was in an ideal walking distance to the stadium and close to several bars and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and engaged and provided a lot of information about the area to ensure we knew about our off property dining options. The room was clean and functional- the room wasn't BIG but it was comfortable for two people. Call it standard size.

I could have spent a LOT of money at the bar had it been open the times I was looking for a drink. Or perhaps it wasn't a bar... I didn't get a chance to find out. A mimosa sure would have hit the spot, though.

We attended a concert at SMU so the Lumen was very convenient location. Our room was very quiet, clean, &comfortable bed. The staff were kind & friendly.

The lighting in our room was inadequate. The nightstand electric plug in was broken.

Very conveniently located, and I got a great night of sleep! Luxurious feel without the hefty price tag.

Wasn’t super clear on parking but I ended up being able to park around the corner for free overnight and it was fine.

The location near SMU and Highland Park can’t be beat. Everything is very walkable and the neighborhood is quiet.

The rooms could use an update but everything was clean and in working order.

Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There was a lot of construction, so we didn't really get to try out or enjoy the other facilities.

Staff work harder on making the stay special. At checkin they were on the phone and not busy with us.

Location was why we choose

Expensive. For price should have had free breakfast or at least free coffee

Hotel was good, staff was friendly, it was clean. I would recommend anyone stopping here to go to the bar. Staff were always happy to serve and loved a good conversation with you.

I can’t really comment as I was only here for one night as a stop over.
