The Hotel design. The design of the room. The large windows. Clean and modern. The chicken bacon quesadillas were delicious. Spacious room and bathroom. Location downtown is perfect. The staff were polite. Secure property. The mattress was comfortable.

The BLT was burnt. The music in lobby was way too loud for the bar area while waiting for our food order. The water pressure is low in the shower. The coffee in the room was terrible.

So many things were wonderful! The bed, the colors of the room (they weren’t ugly and bright like most rooms). There were many different lighting options, warm light is important to me! a sweet view of the city surrounding us. The pool area was gorgeous! Staff was friendly at front desk. And wow, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Check out at twelve is unheard of. Nice ;)

So, this may be nothing but. We were in the pool area and a staff member was having her break there, she didn’t smile, say good evening, or any of the things to make us feel invited. I kind of felt like a nuisance, as though I were interrupting her lunch hour? A little odd. And in our room there was no bathtub(our son has autism and usually requires a tub) but we faired alright. The fridge was ultra tiny as well hahaha we carry a lot of food/drinks on us.

I didn't like the entrance. It's right on the main street, making it a real hassle to pull in or out depending on traffic. Also, the floors have carpet, which creates a lot of static, and you end up shocking yourself every time you press the button at the elevators or the handle to your room. I've been at other hotels with carpet, and that doesn't happen.

Location and room comfort

Disappointing breakfast staff member/cashier. 9:00am on 24/11/2022. Not sure if (she) the staff member was having a bad day especially as it was Thanks giving, however initial engagement, she presented with a general attitude of disinterest and this extended to the client/ customers where it was felt that we were an inconvenience. This was very surprising as we have generally received a high-quality level of service from Marriott throughout our travels across Canada, the US, and Australia. Hope she is feeling better soon.

It was very clean and and close to to everything we needed , we grabbed food downstairs at the restaurant and the food was delicious.

the front of house staff were not dressed properly very casual to the point that you wouldn’t know that they worked there if they would have had a name tag at least you would have known they belonged there. But it they way they were all dressed it would make it very easy for anyone to walk off the street and pretend to work there and get your info.

The breakfast was so good. The extra cost for breakfast is worth it! For 3 of us we had $60 worth, the breakfast burrito and egg and bacon sandwich were yummy! The bed was comfortable and the view was very nice.

We did not make it for breakfast.

The lady at the Starbucks register could have been more professional, she was rude. Other than her , everything was amazing.

Very nice looking place and felt very clean. I've always been disappointed with the lighting in hotel rooms, but place had LOTS of lighting

Booking.com gave the option to pay with PayPal, but the hotel still required a credit card for incidentals and parking. Could it not have been added to the PayPal charge?

Great service! There was a young man with glasses that would answer the phone in the lobby and immediately bring up whatever you asked for, towels or whatever. He was fantastic.

The pool was so cold there was no way to get in it even though it was so hot during the day. A heated pool would be nice or a spa. Also, a few girls were not as attentive as the young man. Needed toilet paper and they said to come to the lobby. Had to send someone down to get the toilet paper to bring it up to me.

I liked the awesome customer service and we felt very secured since you had to have a card key to enter the parking area & to use the elevator.

There was not one thing that I did not like about this hotel.
