Room was comfortable!

The manager was constantly lurking around, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. Housekeeping didn’t clean our room, so we had to call and request towels — but they weren’t available until the next morning. We were in town for a track meet and had no choice but to reuse dirty towels. Additionally, the marketing for free breakfast was misleading. It actually costs $15 per person. Overall, the experience was ok

The free shuttle in the morning to the airport was prompt, the room was clean, nicely decorated and very quite and comfortable. The restaurant was open, served good food and it meant we didnt have to look for a place to eat.

I wrote the staff to ask how I could arrange for a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. No one ever got back to me, so we took a taxi.

Breakfast was good. Location only 10 min from the airport.

Shuttle bus stops running at 10:00 PM before flight arrived. Chose to do a pre-paid taxi service that was rather expensive.

Super convenient location with shuttle bus to IAH airport. Well designed foyer, pleasant counter staff and surprised that the hotel had a good restaurant - saved us from going out to the restaurants when we were exhausted from a busy day. Lastly, the shuttle bus service was prompt and friendly in a proper executive style vehicle - not a converted school bus like the carpark services use - amazing and thanks!

Well we usually don't like a room near the elevators but considering we had a lot of luggage it really worked this time. However, this means we could hear other hotel patrons in the elevator area at all hours....maybe add more soundproofing to the 3 or 4 rooms near the elevator?

Everything was fine but the shuttle service process needs to be improved. The process at the moment is that you call the hotel to book. It is apparent that they do not consider the needs of international travellers who may not be able to use a phone to call ahead. This hotel needs to start talking pre-arranged shuttle bookings that also align with flight times (domestic and international). I was mislead by the front desk clerk into thinking I could catch the last shuttle, only to be told the driver had left the terminal I was instructed to wait at. It left a bad impression on my stay. Such a simple adjustment to this process can make a big difference.

The shuttle service booking process isn't good at all.

I had to change my reservation due a flight delay. The management was very understanding and waived the cancellation fee. The staff members I spoke with were very helpful and patient. The room was nice and very comfortable. Room amenities were adequate. The food I ordered at the restaurant was very good and staff members there were very hospitable. The shuttle driver was very nice. We had a nice chat during the drive to the hotel 🙂

Better snack selection? I was super hungry when I got to the hotel and the restaurant was closed. I don’t usually eat Cup-O-Noodle but I had not choice lol.

The salmon I had at the restaurant was tender and juicy and so were the onion rings. Best food I had in a hotel over the past 10 years. Receptinists and shuttle driver are kind and nice.

Due to a late afternoon international flight, the very kind receptionist gave me until 1 pm to check out but the lady knocked at my door at 11 am not knowing anything, because apparently she did not check with the reception. The room was clean ONLY at first sight. The pillows, comforter and sheets are no cotton, and they were wrinkled and smelled of sebum and sweat from the previous people who slept in them, as sign that they are not washed and disinfected. They could as well carry community MRSA for how they smelled. The carpets are old and dirty.

We used the airport shuttle which made it very convenient to stay at Holiday Inn. We dined at the restaurant which had great service and nice food. Also the breakfast was tasty and convenient. I want to point out the great service that Cheyenne gave us on the shuttle pickup and checking us in. They were short handed but she went above and beyond.

We used the shuttle for our departure and told the driver we had American Airlines for departure and he said that terminal C was a good drop off point. With all of the airport construction, lousy signs, and lots of luggage, our drop off was not good. Terminal C is United completely, so we walked a long way to get to the correct terminal, Terminal A.

This modern and well resourced hotel is a stones throw away from the international airport. The rooms are standard sized, but clean tidy, and the area is safe and well fenced. There is a facilities center about a mile down the road that has cafés, branded eating options and petrol stations to fill up your rental car before returning it to the airport. There is also a free shuttle to and from the terminals.

There is a major logistics center across the road with heavy trucking movements throughout the day and night. Ask for a room that doesn’t overlook this site. The on-site restaurant was pricey with very average food, although the staff were friendly and helpful.

As we stayed in another (admittedly much cheaper) hotel on our way in, we didn’t expect much. So we were even happier with this hotel. Super comfy beds, everything looked nice and clean, it wasn’t noisy at all. The staff was really friendly an helpful, we could check out an hour later and could use the shuttle to and from the hotel. Also breakfast a good was included. Much better than the one we had in the other hotel. Lots of choices. Our little one would have loved to use the pool, but it was a little cold and we arrived in the evening. Still it’s good to have it during the day I guess and it looked inviting.

Generally I would really like being able to open the windows, but a lot of hotels are like that. The only thing I would think could be improved is the cleanliness of the windows - we couldn’t look through at all, which was weird, as we couldn’t even tell whether it was sunny or not. Plus more creamer/milk for the otherwise really nice coffee maker would be great.
