The room was clean and spacious with a King-size bed, a couch, a coffee table, a small coffee maker, a desk, a microwave, and a mini-fridge. The airport shuttle to the hotel and back to the airport was convenient. The A/C was good. The breakfast was okay. The TV was big and had a lot of channels.

When you walk-in to the check-in area, it feels like you're in an unsafe area, with the check-in person behind a glass-walled counter instead of a normal check-in desk at a normal hotel! The breakfast area has only 2 tables but there was no drinking water. The lady at the front desk said I would have to buy drinking water. The bathtub caulk needed some cleaning. I didn't see an elevator, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. I wished the TV had YouTube app.

Room was clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. Refrigerator was biggish, large enough to comfortably store my large bottle of water.

The lighting was not well planned. There were only ceiling lights, even in the grooming area, which made it a little difficult seeing all of my face when shaving.

We were late arriving at the airport and thought we would miss the hotel shuttle but the driver was there to pick us up although it was after 2300hrs. Great! The room was very nice, clean and freshly decorated and furnished. Breakfast was a carb-fuelled affair but sufficient. The morning airport shuttle bus left without us but the receptionist called it back for us!

The A/C wasn’t working and the room was cold as a result. There was only a thin sheet, coverlet and blanket on the bed which wasn’t warm enough. Minor points: no hook in bathroom to hang towels after use and a shelf/shelving in the shower would be of benefit.

The room was spacious and very clean. The reception guy was really nice and even called me in the morning to make sure I didn’t miss the airport shuttle. The bed was super comfortable. And it had a fridge which was handy because I hadn’t planned on going out for food so I brought some with me. There’s also a microwave. I didn’t use it but it was there.

I was given an inside room with a window to a corridor which meant no sun light. I paid to check in early so I could work throughout the day and it was annoying to feel like it was night time all day. Next time I’d specifically ask for a room with a window to the outside. The coffee machine isn’t great. It only takes those coffee pods that look like tea bags. I actually had coffee with me so had it been a regular filter coffee machine I’d have been able to make my own coffee. I didn’t have the breakfast because the reception area didn’t feel clean enough to me and it’s a weird set up. It doesn’t feel like a breakfast room. It didn’t matter to me because I was headed to the airport and had breakfast there but it may matter to some.

Location was good, with some restaurant options within walking distance and close enough to the airport to get to and from quickly. The airport pick-up was highly appreciated! The room was very comfortable and surprisingly resistant to external sounds. In spite of the renovations going on, it was a good stay.

No one was at reception when we arrived and so we spent about 5 minutes wondering what was going on. Breakfast...meh. Very sparse. Also, zero assistance in moving baggage to the room, and it was all stairs and no elevator.

Very clean hotel close to the IAH airport. My flight was canceled so my stay here was a last-minute booking. For a budget hotel, I was pleased with my room--spotless; comfortable king size bed, very warm fleece blanket, large bathroom. Since Scottish Inn & Suites at this location is less than 3 miles from the airport, you will hear planes flying overhead quite often, but otherwise, noise wasn't an issue.

The staff needs to work on being more available. At checkout, no one was at the front desk, and there was no bell or similar devise to notify staff that I (and two other people) was waiting. Eventually, I just knocked on the door. Part of this may be because the "staff" are actually the family that run the hotel and I think they live on site. The rooms do not have lamps, which means that at night, you have a very bright overhead light. (Each side of the bed has one, and you can turn it off/on from the side table).

We have called the provided phone number at the airport parking and five minutes later we were picked up by a super friendly driver, who brought us to the hotel (the drive was about 10 minutes, because the mini-bus also stops at other hotels). The room was nice and quite comfortable. It was also very easy to get the shuttle back to the airport next morning: we just had to register for it in the evening.

It was not very clean and everything is slightly dated, but it is fine for the price.

We missed a connection and had an unplanned 2-night stay in Houston before returning home. Not an ideal situation but the hotel was very affordable, close to the airport, and provided shuttle transportation which was appreciated. Breakfast was basic.... waffle machine, coffee, juice, and bananas. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The place was clean with up-to-date decor in good condition.

I would have liked some form of protein like hardboiled eggs as I've seen at similar hotel breakfast offerings.

It’s perfect for a hotel that’s close to the airport. I stayed here 4 days and there wasn’t one wrong thing with it. Ok I didn’t have the breakfast so I can’t comment but the shuttle was perfect and easy to and from the hotel. You can’t complain about “attractions” and “things to do” because it’s just a normal hotel by the airport. It’s probably best to use Uber Eats for food because all you have close is fast foods but I’m afraid that just seems to be America in general. I’m a runner also so I found a little field that was sort of opposite the hotel to go and do some exercise which kept me busy while there. Room was a lot bigger than I thought. Super clean and one evening the tv stopped working and they came and fixed it immediately. Not sure about people saying “it’s not safe” I literally saw not one person in the hotel car park while I stayed for 4 days and you also have 3 different locks on your door so I would say your pretty safe and secure.

Nothing. I had a great stay and I don’t think people should think twice about booking it. I don’t have a bad word to say about the place or the staff.
