Location of the restaurant was good and the food was good. I ate both breakfast and lunch (and had a number of drinks at the bar in the afternoon) as I had to wait 24 hours for a plane. Cannot complain about any of the food or drink offerings. Super helpful reception staff who were even able to offer me gym gear for purchase so I could use the gym. Great offering.

The service was a little clunky. Potentially due to American tipping culture, service was slower than it would be in Australia as staff chatted to other customers. Potentially also due to not enough being rostered on. Also something a little odd about the division between bar staff and restaurant staff. When sitting at a table in the lobby you had to wait for table service and could not just order a drink and pay for it, directly from the bar.

The location inside Terminal D of DFW Airport, right outside TSA was super convenient for a short overnight layover, saving us time which translated to more sleep. The lobby is upstairs an escalator outside the security area and easy to find. Check in was extremely fast and we were to our room within about 10-15 minutes of landing. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort of the hotel. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and the decor was modern.

Price seemed a little high at first, but given the convenience and quality of the room, the price is justified. We did not check out any of the amenities or restaurant.

Location...location....location. After a long day of flying from the UK the convenience of walking straight to hotel is worth every penny. Bar/restaurant was over priced, but that what you get with airport hotels that are attached to the terminals. Hotel room was HUGE (expecially after small inns in Scotland), A/C was slow to get cool but got there in the end. Huge windows overlooking the runways was fun.

Tub vice walk-in shower. I'm sure it is a huge expense to replace, but tubs are not a "thing" anymore and you risk slips and falls whenever you have a tub.

This is so convenient and luxurious for an airport hotel. But it's Dallas, so that's to be expected. What I mean by convenient is it's right off the airport garage, up the escalator when you enter the airport and done, you're home! Consider this place when you have a flight early the next morning.

I think the price was a bit high, but my guess is you're paying for convenience. It was quite nice as well, but I just think if most people just stay for a night to catch their flight the next morning or b/c they have to wait for another flight the next day, it could be a little cheaper.

Very friendly staff, nice room, great view onto airport, excellent dinner, convenient location to check in luggage any time after 3:30 am for flights that take-off from terminal D.

Our flight landed in a different terminal (not D). We had to pick up our luggage and had to exit via outside doors towards ground transportation. It was freezing cold outside. We had to wait 10-15 minutes outside until a bus shuttle came by to pick us up to be driven to the Grand Hyatt Hotel at terminal D entering through their front door from the outside.

Staff was professional and prompt in all of our interactions. Our suite was spacious and clean. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in an American chain hotel. Waitstaff in the restaurant was excellent. If you are flying American Airlines it is convenient to use this hotel as you can enter airport security directly on the level below the hotel.

Quite a drive using the shuttle service at night. No clear directive on how to arrive to the hotel using the shuttle or SkyLink tram service.

Standard of food was way above expectations and presented well. Staff on arrival and throughout were attentive, polite and kind. Room was clean, spacious and well-designed. Well-stocked mini bar and a decent (although reduced) room service menu. The option of a late checkout, chargeable by the hour was extremely helpful and exactly what was needed whilst needing to work somewhere peaceful and comfortable before needing to go for one's flight.

Nothing to comment upon.

Exceptionally awesome check-in with Alexia, who made my day with her outstanding smile and professional-cordial ways!! After that, it just had to be a wonderful stay! Loved everything about the hotel! My room was very quiet with a great view on the runway, good minibar and coffee-maker. Water kettle was available upon request. The hotel is very easy to find, right by Terminal D and the perfect place, if you are catching an early flight. Or - if you are catching a flight in the evening - you can leave your luggage at the hotel, explore Dallas during the day and pick up your luggage later. Thanks Hyatt!

Can't think of anything that I did not like!

Convenient, great location and easy stay in transit. Comfortable beds with great sheets. Staff was friendly and quick to respond to requests.

On the pricy side. Locked mini bar seemed overly complicated and unnecessary in this kind of room…. Maybe just take everything out of it and leave a working refrigerator with some free waters.

Directions to get there are VERY poor. It would have been useful to know. - as a first time visitor that you can get to terminal D and enter the hotel very easily for other terminals using the train, rather than using the bus outside the terminal. As well the signage is terrible outside terminal D - it doesnt tell you to go inside the terminal to get to the hotel visa the escalators. A major challenge when arriving late at night.
