We stayed here to go to an Air Force graduation at Lackland AFB and this was a great place for it. From hotel parking lot to Lackland was 11 minutes. All food places delivered to this location. Getting in and out of the parking lot was easy. Staff were so kind and texted to see if there was anything we needed. I did request extra towels and they were prompt with a response and meeting the request. Rooms and shower were clean. AC blows ice cold and was great! Beds were comfortable. Overall a great place for cost.

The elevator made weird sounds and shook when it stopped.

We really enjoyed the breakfast. The variety every day was great. Loved having omelettes available and home fries. Very clean and plentiful. My car was one of 3, the week I stayed, that was broken into. Luckily, your kitchen staff scared off the thief with her car alarm prior to them totally breaking my passenger window. Only property damage for me. The manager did give us a nights refund. I hate this happened. But, thieves will be thieves. It was handled by the staff very well.

I only have a couple of things. The pool is nice heated. But, in the Texas summer (May-November), don’t heat the pool quite so warm. It was like a jacuzzi. Only one elevator was in operation.

Breakfast was good, buffet style, with typical fare of pastry, waffles, eggs, or cereal. Staff was very courteous and unobtrusive. They also politely helped with a few minor requests I made of them, both at the front desk and the maintenance staff. I went there to view the 2024 eclipse. The location was ideal for that effort, as well as visiting local venues like the zoo, museums, Spanish missions, the Alamo and Riverwalk. Near major shopping and food stores. Easy access to freeways. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Some one-way streets in the area make getting around a little challenging. But not a big deal. Just need to get on to the wrong road once or twice to figure it all out. Was not a fan of their cable TV system. Difficult to navigate, but we got over it.

The hotel is in a perfect location for a SeaWorld and downtown San Antonio visit. Plenty of dining option within walking distance, along with a shopping center and Target just minutes away. The front side of the highway faces highway 151 so be prepared for road noises most of the night (i.e. racing cars, semi's breaking, etc) We got the King suite, which was basically a overly large room with a loveseat a middle table and a king bed, but it was sufficient for our needs, just not your typical "suite" there was no division of room. The walk in shower was great though, no tub to step over. Room AC worked great as we all like sleeping i the cold. The breakfast options were great, better then most hotel food, it was hot and they did an excellent job keeping it filled. Waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy along with red potatoes, great selection of juice and milk along with the hot and cold cereals. I was disappointed in the front desk staff as they appeared to be teenagers, and when asked questions about local dining, or directions they asked if I had google on my phone, or i dunna know? or went looking through post its taped to counter. I also had a flat tire late Saturday night, and asked the clerk at the counter if he knew of a mobile tire service and he laughed and asked what that was...then went looking though the different post its. Just not the type of hospitality I have come to expect from The Hampton Inns... We had not issues with break ins as some others suggested, we did make sure we left nothing in the car, and made sure that doors were locked. The parking lot is well lite. I was traveling with 3 teenage grandkids and while I would stay here again with other adults or my spouse, as a female I could not say that I would stay without another adult with me, just based on the desk clerks. The housekeeping staff and those working the breakfast area were wonderful and very helpful.

The front desk staff....they were very unprofessional and unable to offer any assistance or suggestions for the area, When anything was asked you either got the blank stare or a stroll through post it note forest

Location, lady that welcomed us that morning. Was very nice and helpful.

Noise in room above us was so loud! Could take a nap or hear the tv. Call downstairs finally around 6, were told quiet time is 10 pm call then we will call see if they will quiet down. Then she tells me you know we are close to Sea World lots of family with kids. 🤦🏻‍♀️ well I would let my kids do things like that it’s called respect for others. So we got to hear them jumping and jumping all evening !!

Staff accommodated my requests for early check in and provided me with a meeting room to conduct my business, even when I checking in much earlier than scheduled time. Rest of the trip was great. Barring 2 issues below one of which may be associated with my early check in.

WIFI -- May be it's bcos I checked in early, the wifi wouldn't allow.my devices to access it. So, I had to go to Starbucks to get it and after I came back during my scheduled hours, wifi worked just fine. Coffee Availability in the lobby -- I drink a lot of coffee. I have seen this in all of the Hampton Inns through out the country. I travel a lot, almost all thru the year. Coffee which is left after the breakfast is never refreshed. Inspire of the requests, it's never made fresh. Always cold. No exception. So, it's a Hampton Inn issue not just this one.

Breakfast options were great. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and biscuits was great morning options for hot breakfast. Plus the regular fare for waffles and cold items. Coffee was hot all day. Loved the look of the breakfast area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Front desk very friendly and helpful.

Very easy check in. Staff and receptionist was really polite and kind, rooms were very comfortable, the whole hotel was clean and well organized. My kids had a chance to swim in their pool. Pool was heated and towels were provided by the pool area. Breakfast was way more than what I expected, chefs kiss. Location is near everything and very convenient. Close to plenty of entertainment, restaurants and stores. Hotel by location and by staff made my family feel safe. Overall 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Convenient location and clean amenities.

Not quite sure where the breakdown happened, but I booked a king room and was given a 2-queen bedroom. Lady was saying it was never mentioned by booking.com that a king room was requested. Didn’t argue anymore since it was quite late at night, and we needed to wake up very early the next morning for my son’s BMT graduation ceremonies.

The breakfast was awesome. Loved the Texas shaped waffles. The location was great- we were in town for AF graduation and it was very convenient and close to the base, restaurants, etc. pricing was not bad either… only concern of mine were some of the sketchy people hanging around the back of the hotel… also there was a Turkey?!?

The AC unit made a weird noise. Sheets felt like they were damp. Sketchy people were hanging out in the back of the hotel. Parking was a little scarce
