After a bad experience from another hotel, this hotel made my last two nights in San Antonio worthwhile. This hotel is not far from the army base and SeaWorld . It was family friendly; my toddler with me enjoyed playing in the common area with toys and with other kids who lodged there. Their check-out time was 12 pm. On my last day in this hotel, I did not arrive at my hotel until 1 pm because I couldn't make it back in time to check out. However, the hotel never charged me extra fees, never called my phone, questioned me or threatened to throw my things out because they understand that life happens and of course, my luggage was still in the room, so I will always make it back to their hotel. When I arrived back and picked up my things, I gave the receptionist a tip $$ and he refused to collect it, but I insisted that he could have the money just because I knew I could have been charged extra money

The mattress

The hotel was clean and in an excellent location for us. The staff were friendly, efficient & very nice.

Not too crazy over the lack of storage in the rooms. No closet, your clothes are hung up in the hall between bed & bathroom; with a couple of hooks on the wall across from the hangers. There is no luggage rack either, so suitcases are on the floor, in the way. Our shower door had a 2” gap, so water was everywhere. We did let management know, however this could not have been this first time this has been brought up & it still exists. Extra towels for the floor were a must.

The staff was nice, the facility, was clean and the shower water was hot. The morning breakfast was good. Chicken tenders for the toddler in the morning worked out well.

After a hard day of moving the mattress was not comfortable as they were under the home 2 suites name. The Tru room was half the size of home 2 suites. We chose it because, we are traveling with a toddler and wanted more room.

That the pool had too much chlorine in it and every time the adults got ready to go swimming it was a lot of kids in the pool so we didn't get a chance to swim at all you need to be two pools one for children one for adults

Literally everything is always super when I come here! I also really appreciate the early check ins if a room is available! I do lots of traveling at weird times and on odd days so it’s relaxing to be able to find somewhere to go if I end up coming into town sooner! Everything is always CLEAN and efficient!

I stayed at your hotel for seven days, the last day the breakfast was phenomenal and the rest of the days it wasn’t that good.

The courtesy of the staff and the helpfulness of the staff. You have a great team at this location.

I loved the location. The cleanliness. It was all great. Felt very comfortable there. The only things I didn’t like was the surprise $50 a room fee cause I read everything. Even though we got it back but still. And the pool area was very hot. But I will stay here again if needed.

Breakfast was great, odd location between bread eggs meat and the waffle/pancake stations

WiFi on my phone and Disney Plus on their TV was horrible.

Overall, everything was great about staying here. The location was great. The staff and hotel itself were great. The breakfast wasn't bad either. I love the 12 pm checkout.

We had a 3 day, 2 night stay and room service never came to our room. They were in the hallway but skipped our room, which meant it was never cleaned by staff. I had to clean it and go to the front desk to ask for clean towels. The pool stayed crowded, and other guests weren't mindful about sharing the pool. Playing football in the pool, which is fine if they're mindful of the babies they were hitting and making go under water. I feel staff could've monitored that better, and there was never a restock of towels in the pool area.
