Great location on the Mountain Road across from a bus stop. Halfway between the Stowe resort and Stowe the village. My unit had a kitchenette -- really just one cooktop and a microwave, but that was enough to save a lot of money on meals and much more convenient. Also: It's across the street from Burt's Irish Pub. Highly recommended. It's locals oriented but I didn't feel unwelcome.

The place is a little dated in decor and style but not in a worn-out way. It's very well maintained. The thermostat actually worked but it did take a while to warm up when I came back in from a day out. Not a major problem, though.

Nice little room. Had a nice effeciency setup with good freezer and fridge. Extra chairs pillows and blankets. Room was smaller but for 2 people it was nice for all we were using it. Would be crowded with 4. They had games and movies in the office to borrow. We didnt use them but if you were in the area for skiing and winter activities it would be a nice convenience.

Check in process was a little unclear. It wasnt confusing once explained but just an early notification of what check in would be if arriving after 9pm would help our plans where thrown off with car problems and we didnt arrive when we thought. Also area is really dark. Some additional lights around signage that come on earlier would be helpful. And maybe more signage and notifications where the office is located on property (by the giant christmas tree) GPS was a little confused but we found it. An ice machine would be nice so you dont have to wait for 1 tray to freeze.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Helped us get oriented our first visit to Stowe. Shuttle bus to Stowe ski resort just across the main road that runs along the property, so could leave the car at the motel parking lot. Room was very warm despite a brutal arctic blast during our stay. Several bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Coffee available at the front desk lobby, but it only opens at 8 am, which is too late if one js trying to catch first lift. Getting a 2nd floor room is a bummer when walking in ski boots. No EV chargers.

Cozy little spot for a quick weekend ski trip. The office offers coffee, cookies, hot chocolate, DVDs, games, snow shoeing. I wish we could've taken advantage of all of these things, but we were mostly here for skiing. Warm rooms, despite very cold Vermont temps. The shuttle that takes you to the Stowe resort stops across the street.

Not much to complain about. Maybe only if you're looking for a modern place with luxury amenities, this is probably not it.

Loved everything about the location, landscape, walking distance to anything you wanted around the area of the Motel, the free bike rental, dvds to watch, coffee/tea, the pool was great and patio area was very nice!! Loved how quaint, charming and clean the Motel was. Had an efficiency room bed was comfortable and had everything you needed from utensils, pans etc... Staff was so friendly and great!! It was our first time in Stowe we stayed 5 days it was a recommendation from a friend who had stayed here for several years so glad she recommended this place because I DEFINITELY will!! 😁♥️😁

Clean, comfortable, budget friendly property, with great location near restaurants and shops. If you’re skiing, the free bus stops right at the hotel driveway which is super convenient and you can avoid having to pay for parking at the mountain.

Everything! Great location two miles from the von Trapp Family Lodge. Our room was roomy, clean and comfortable. The people at the front desk were very nice at check-in.

This is nit picky, the bathroom door hits the toilet, but not a huge issue by any means.

Fantastic location - perfect for the reason for our travel (beer/breweries!). Everything we needed was in walking distance. Super helpful staff for sorting out a taxi to Waterbury. Rooms were super clean, warm, and pleasant!

There were a lot of cigarette ends outside of our door, but cleaning was happening when we noticed - might have just been a consequence of that.

The location was perfect for our activities. It was a good size room, has easy parking and we like being able to rent DVDs. The staff is friendly.

There aren't many restaurants and their kitchens close early, so you need to think of your meals ahead of time. Our room felt more outdated than our previous visits.

good location, very clean and comfy. kitchenette was a real plus along with the sofa in the room. free bikes to borrow. there is also a games room with table tennis, foosball etc. there are grills dotted around the property where u can bbq food if u want to. We really loved the feel of the property, the space in the room. staff were really friendly too

pool was out of action during our stay-but to be fair the weather wasn’t good enough to swim in an outdoor pool
