We didn't have breakfast at the resort. In the evening we had some bar snacks with drinks and they were very nice. The ambience in the bar area was great and we enjoyed playing shuffle whilst we had a drink.

The pool was quite busy and lots of towels left lying around which made it difficult to see if there was a sunbed free. The hotel allowed food to be consumed in the indoors pool area, this wasn't nice and I find it a bit baffling why somebdoy would need to eat indoors around a pool?? We loved the outside pool and hot tub.

Beautiful grounds, 3 pools and 2 hot tubs, plus the indoor spa areas for men/women. Location was close to town (driving distance) but also tucked away in the woods. We were just across the street from the Stowe recreational path that goes into town. The concierge gave us a hiking trail map and suggestions.

I liked it all. No breakfast but it’s ok. There are some fun cafes and shops to visit nearby. We didn’t eat on site but there was a restaurant on site too. I wish the pools were open til 10pm instead of 9.

We loved the location and shuttle service to the mountain. The hot tub and pool area was super nice and warm. We also loved the turn down service at night, this made our room extra cozy. The bar cocktail menu wasn’t great but definitely get a White Russian and sit by the fire or play shuffle board. Room service is also available which is a plus.

Lobby too small. Bar drink menu needs improvement.

Top notch is one of my favourite places to stay!! You can feel instantly how staff wants to ensure a perfect experience, the rooms are very clean, the food is great in the restaurant (kuddos to the chef). The beds are very comfortable and the pool facilities are excellent.

The rooms are dated (but its more a style- they are still super clean), I would love to see more modern look in the common areas and in the rooms...

Food was 4 stars, in particular breakfast at $20 was a bargain for what you got and the sweeping view of Mt. Mansfield and the surrounding countryside. They even had homemade hash, a rarity, that was juicy and tender, covered by 2 jumbo farm fresh eggs. Toast was consistently brown, not burned or under toasted.

The various outdoor and indoor pools, the spa, the hot tubs, the sauna and the Turkish bath were exceptionally clean, perfectly maintained and a pleasure to stay in. Dinner was prepared and served with the highest level of quality and Carlos was very attentive and friendly. We'll definitively recommend the well deserved namesake. Top notch, nothing better in the area.

There was nothing out of extraordianary in the resort. We'll come back for sure.

The staff was great, very attentive and helpful. We loved having a fire in the evening out on the patio! Breakfast was excellent and the bar was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room.

The WiFi was weak. We would like to have had USB plugs directly situated in the power outlets. The room door would not close on its own. The bathroom door's paint was peeling. Could use some more hangers in the closet.

Enjoyed the Spa and Marylin the massage lady. The room and bathroom cleanliness. The friendliness of the staff.

The food was bad. I recall the restaurant and its great executed menu. Not even near. The place looks rundown. Poor maintenance. Chipped paint, furniture looks old with scratches. The carpeting stained.

I always love the pool area, hot tub with waterfall. The outdoor hottub needs work on jets. Outdoor pool is never warm enough to use in the winter.

Kids jumping in the hottub. Kids shouldn't be allowed without parents being in the tub with them.

Location is top! With its own spa,restaurant tennis and horse riding facilities . Great walk & bike path along the river takes you safely all the way to Stowe village. Highly professional, friendly, always eager to please staff. Special thanks to chef Jose for the most creative ,delicious vegetarian pasta made for me. 5pm daily freshly baked cookies.Home away from home.
