AWOL Stowe is a great addition to our Stowe stay options. Just our limitation, but my husband was on crutches due to an injury the night before we arrived. Combined with the rain, it made moving around the property a little tricky. For most people, it wouldn't be a problem at all! Very cute property, a lovely little lodge, and a perfect location. Again, just a note to be mindful of the ease of accessibility if your circumstances warrant.

The ease of accessing our room the night of arrival. With rain and a road blocked, it was hard to get my husband and our stuff into our room. The road was open and accessible the next day, so it might just have been the night we arrived.

The facility was relatively new so the place looked so clean and cozy!!! The lobby had this cozy area with a fireplace and the cabin room was so cute!! It was a bit rainy when we went there so the beautiful cabin made it still fun to stay inside

The bed was a bit too soft for us. Depends on what type of mattress you are into as we prefer something harder for the back.

Exceptional experience from booking to check out. Friendly and attentive staff, the room was clean, modern and comfortable to the near serenity. I have stayed in many Vermont hotels, several in the Stowe/Waterbury area. AWOL is my is my absolute favorite 10/10. I will continue to stay here for the rest of my life.

There was a reservation hickup at arrival, although it was remedied via an upgrade and the staff apologised and was very kind in the effort to correct the problem. Although I liked the visual impression some of the furniture has a low quality feel. There was a construction going on in the vicinity but without noise that day.

Great location, comfortable, quiet room; nice lodge area, friendly and accommodating staff with a personal touch for check in and check out (text messages and updates)

Bedding is designed for frigid winter nights, but does not allow to ventilate body heat, so opening a balcony door was a must; pillows are just too big, but this is relatively easily solvable

Having to constantly go back to lobby to re-magnitize the access cards to the rooms, a very dusty and leaf-filled patio, not enough staff at the hotel (had to wait for towels)..

The breakfast was perfect, great breads, yogurt, eggs oatmeal. Everything you need to get started for a good day of skiing.

They could have started the breakfast at 7am so that people could get to the resort earlier and try to avoid more of the crowds.

Close to town, enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was great and unique!

Bathroom was tiny and either ice cold water or scolding hot. Had to run faucet at same time to get hot water. They know they need to fix this.

The service was exceptional with wonderful staff who cater to all your needs. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. My family had an unforgettable great experience

The heat was not so easy to regulate. The temp was about 85 degrees and that made it impossible to sleep. The shower lighting doesn’t exist. Loved the cabin. Very cozy. The staff was a pleasure to deal with.
