Excellent location. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room is a good size.

They did not offer automatic room cleaning. I did not realize that I had to request it. For the price of the room, I expect it to be serviced. In addition, I expected free parking. They charge extra to park in the garage across the street. They should just incorporate the price into the cost of the room. Moreover, the cost of a cup of coffee was 50% greater than coffee shops nearby. It seems silly to take advantage of customers in that manner.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to start with this so this review does not initially appear negative regarding the hotel because I can't say enough good things. I actually had to cancel my reservation prior to our stay so I can't speak much to the hotel itself but what I can rave about is the outstanding customer service this hotel offers. I made the huge mistake of using Booking.com to make this reservation and will never again use them. I started the cancellation process well in advance of a few weeks so timing was not an issue. Booking.com was completely awful to work with in doing this. After many, many hours on hold, the multiple phone calls back and forth between the hotel and Booking.com I have learned a very valuable lesson to book direct every time. Over 3 months later, I finally received a refund. ANDREW (Hotel Manager) WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WITH HIS LEVEL OF PATIENCE, NOT ONLY WITH MY NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS BUT HAVING TO SPEAK TO BOOKING.COM MULTIPLES TIMES ATTEMPTING TO DO EVERYTHING HE COULD TO MAKE SURE I RECEIVED MY REFUND. IT WAS NO FAULT OF THIS HOTEL FOR THE DELAY. MY FAMILY AND I PASS THROUGH THIS AREA YEARLY AND WILL BE SURE TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL SO I CAN PERSONALLY THANK ANDREW FOR HIS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. BUT FIRST I WILL CALL AND BOOK OUR STAY BEFORE I EVER USE A THIRD PARTY AGAIN. IF I CAN STOP ONE PERSON FROM MAKING THE MISTAKE OF USING BOOKING.COM THEN THIS POST IS WORTH IT. ESPECIALLY TO MAKE SURE THE HOTEL RECEIVES RECOGNITION!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!!

The staff were wonderful, the hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable and location was great as well if you’re planning on shopping/dining in downtown.

The parking situation is not ideal. If you don’t pay the additional valet cost, you have to pay for a parking garage across the street which isn’t cheap.

The young lady that checked us in was wonderful. She even took outside to point us in the right direction for a restaurant. She helped us with our Bonvoy points which we have been having issues with. The valet staff was also amazing each time we needed them. Loved the location and the amenities.

Could have a little more variety, especially for the pastry/bread selection. Their potatoes were great as recommended.

Could have used another easy chair or maybe love seat for more than one person to sit (except for desk chair).

We booked this room last minute on our travels and were not sure what to expect. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were hoping for a walkable location and this was exactly that in a very cute area close to restaurants and shops. The price was a little higher than some other hotels on our search, but worth it if you are looking for a walkable location!

Closeness to shops, restaurants and entertainment, parks. Downtown Fredricksburg is a walkable city for all ages and the hotel was right in the middle of all of everything.. Easy check-in and checkout. Enjoyed our stay and would return.

No complaints.

The room was great, comfortable bed and great shower.

The breakfast was very strange...they have a franchise from Starbucks but the whole breakfast experience was strange. The large coffee was only 1/2 full and then they presented you with a bill you needed to sign so they could cross-bill the hotel and they never explained that to you when you got the bill.

It was very nice and the staff was friendly

The last guest that had my room, put a period pad on the smoke detector. When the room was cleaned after her stay, they missed the pad that was on the smoke detector. Kind of gross to remove myself

The location of the hotel is great - right in the heart of the historic district, with many restaurants and shops in walkable distance. The interior of the hotel is smart and very clean, and my room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
