It’s quiet. The room is comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is something I’ve never seen before. Easy in/ out. I’m pretty sure they have some type of staff person on property full time. go to Cul’s courthouse grill if you’re there. It’s 10 minutes away good food!

As others have said, the doors to the rooms could be improved. Normally a door won’t move at all once’s it’s closed and deadbolted. Maybe a small throw rug outside the bathroom. The minute I stepped off my towel getting out of the shower I almost went for a ride on cement floor

I have been coming here for the past 3 years. My bass club has a tournament every year and we launch from the ramp. It's a great river & the property is well kept.

I loved the property before it was turned into an RV park. I live in a city so I enjoyed getting away from people. I mean we spend most of the time on the water so it's not really a deal breaker but you need to watch out for kids roaming free when driving.

We loved the "off the beaten path" location. It would be a great location for visiting the James River plantations. The views of the river were lovely. If we had brought a boat, we could have utilized the launch facilities. The waterfront restaurant was an added bonus. A rare find.

There were two of us. It would have been a tight fit for more even though there were two queen beds. Even though we had a coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge, there was limited space for eating. Since we there for only one night, it was not a big issue.

Very clean and beautifully kept

Would love to see a small fenced area for the pups to play one day. Only thing I would change would be the curtains they aren’t big enough to cover the entire window so light from outside comes in. But that’s nothing major I will continue to keep coming here this is my second stay.

I booked river view room and was placed in camping view room, which doesnt matter as you cant really use windows as people walk outside to get to their rooms , so mo privacy with open windows.

This was a great place to stay. Very peaceful, great views, clean, the room was very nice and comfy. The staff was very nice and friendly! I will definitely go back!

so quite and cozy motel. located on the bank of the river. nice and clean. free parking. moreover the restaurant is located near the motel. check in was without any people and for me it’s was a good option and I was able to check in really late
