All the amenities, proximity to historic sites, feeling safe and the set up of room/apartment

I’ll only piece that I didn’t like was the pressure of the vacation club sales. It says no pressure on brochure. Front desk made it seem like no big deal. I felt like I was a hostage at that seminar. It was over 2hrs of my vacation time and it was like they wouldn’t let me leave had to have a manager then try to sell me the vacation club and wanted the money right then and there. I was given a gift card for listening and when I tried to use it on line it got declined. Wish I had those hours back with my kids. It was extremely clean and comfy. Husband and I took a walk to the coffee cafe on site and it was closed all day even thought hours posted said it was open. Multiple texts during the 2 night stay with cable down, pool closed due to thunder and sports channels out.

This property is absolutely stunning. The rooms are in two story cottages surrounded by a lot of available activities. It's practically a full house complete with full kitchen, family room and washer and dryer. Even though there is a lot going on, the area is relatively quiet and feels like it's off the beaten track. I was in town for a funeral, so I was unable to fully utilize the property, but I'm definitely going back, so I can explore the grounds more thoroughly. There's so much to do that the complex offers a staycation experience right there on site.

The Hot Tub

The facilities were awesome. Everything needed was provided and convenient. Very calmed environment. We really loved the place

Friendliness of the staff. They were either complaining about something happening at work or personal issues. For a property like this one expects a different environment. They were just going thru the motions but there was not care or concern.

We like the size of the room as it is large enough for all of us. I like the shampoo conditioner and shower get being mounted on the wall. I think that one would be useful at the sink in the middle instead of using bar soap.

The girl that checked me in was not very friendly and was talking with her coworker and the coworker's customer instead of keeping her attention on me. The guy beside her is the best worker behind that desk and he checked me in last year. He is focused and fast at checking people in. I will remember to ask for him next time. I asked her if we could get some extra towels and washcloths and she told me to call the front desk and they would bring them to me. We tried to call the front desk several times and we heard them, but they could not hear us talking. The second floor bathroom's shower gel fell off the wall.

Sun Room and patio with ample outdoor furniture was a treat for us. Lovely grounds, full kitchen. This was our third time here and did not have the opportunity to use available amenities; on previous visits we enjoyed the pools, walking the grounds and musical interludes. A comfortable place to stay and we’ll be back again. Good location.

The daily resort fee is quite steep, especially with a shorter stay and no amenities were used outside the unit. Unit had no coffee filters, only one kitchen towel, no dish or hand soap in kitchen and baths. Living/dining room furniture was tired-stained, chipped, with a large spilt seam on the back of the couch.

Very nice place. The kids really loved it. The people in the unit below ours were partying all night, but we only know this because we could hear them when we went outside. I couldn't hear a peep when I was inside. My wife says she could hear a little girl singing at 2AM, but she was barely audible until she opened the door to the deck. Good soundproofing.

I have stayed at Hiltons in the past that had beds that were so soft that I couldn't sleep because there was no support and my back hurt. This was the opposite - the beds were so hard that I ended up putting the couch cushions on the floor and sleeping on those. My wife and my boys agree the beds were hard, but it didn't prevent them from sleeping well. I have a bad back due to an accident years ago and the bed was torture for me - I need a bed to be firm, but less firm than a cement floor. I slept poorly as a result.

I was impressed with the property, but I was most impressed by the customer service... I loved that staff was but a phone text away, and their response was prompt... My grandchildren enjoyed themselves every day we were there.... Not one time did I hear "I'm bored" from them... The rooms are awesome, spacious and clean.. Both swimming pools (indoor & out) are great and the many activities keep every one of every age busy and entertained... And most importantly, the beds were very comfortable and the pillows were adequate... My family and I look forward to returning next summer..

I LOVE the pools! They were so beautiful and spacious. The kids' pool was so helpful with a toddler. The restaurant on site was really fun and the waiter was very attentive. I took walks every morning, and it was so peaceful and the views were so beautiful. I honestly can not wait to come back!

Only one roll of tp in each bathroom. It would have been nice to have a few more rolls. The glass of wine at the restaurant was only a 4 oz pour, which felt a little stingy. The outside family jacuzzi was not working and it was cooler weather.

Loved the apartment style set up, loft space with livining room was an added bonus. It was like having a vacation rental with all the hotel amenities. Place was peaceful and serene, only 10 minutes away from our favorite eatery Tipsey Bean (Closed on Mondays). a total of three pools on the resort. Indoor, Kiddie, and the Adult only pool was a pleasant surprise. Great place for couples and families. Plus I scored a hole in one on 17!

Hotel restarant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We had a little drive to the pool. Not a big deal, we'll just ask for a until closer next time.
