We arrived early, the hotel was easy to find. We couldn't check in early but the friendly front desk staff said we were welcome to use the car park and luggage facility before check in time. We decided to do this and to walk into Colonial Williamsburg - it was an easy route and took approx 30 mins each way. The hotel had an indoor pool which was a bonus after a very hot day walking around lovely Colonial Williamsburg and towels for the pool are provided by the hotel and plentiful. Front desk staff were lovely, very friendly and happy. The hotel is near a couple of restaurants, gas stations and a 7/11. The room had coffee facilities, a microwave and fridge/freezer. Breakfast was good too. We would highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing we didn't like.

There was a lot of hot water available for showering. The entire staff was super friendly. Special shout outs to Judith F. at the Front Desk and Ms. Lee for breakfast. Thank you!!! :)

Room was clean & bed was very comfortable. We were only there for one night & did not really use the amenities, but they seemed quite good. Most of all, we’d like to compliment the staff. The front desk fellows were both (evening & morning) great - very personable & helpful! Also, the lady servicing the breakfast area was terrific - a very hard worker who kept everything fully stocked & clean!! And, finally our room rate was very good - especially compared to its value and the cost of many of the other area accommodations.

Only small issue was that the drawer in our bedside table would open on its own to about 1/2 fully open. That table needs a couple of shims put under it to keep it level.

The room was adequate, including a wardrobe. The bathroom was smaller but the walk in shower was larger than it looks. Water was hot, pressure was good. The hot breakfast was good. They kept breakfast well stocked all the way through cut off. Delicious waffles and they offered sugar free syrup. Ice machine worked on our floor. Check in was fast and efficient, same with check out!

Breakfast was the same thing every day during our stay which was fine, it was good. Parking was a challenge with 2 hotels sharing a lot. Guests from the other hotel parked at the entrance near our room at our hotel...leaving spots in the other hotel's lot farther away. The only place to sit in our room was the bed or the desk, no other chairs.

Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Our room was kept clean and tidy and clean towels were provided daily. Our grandsons especially enjoyed the pool and enjoyed talking to Andre as he was very patient and kind to them.

Can't really say I didn't like anything. Just had a little trouble with the wifi and Andre got right on it even followed up the next day to explain what happened. It wasn't anyone's fault just had storms that day.

The person who checked us in was awesome! He was personable and informative of the area. He gave us all of the information we needed to know about our stay before we had to ask. He showed a sincere interest in our stay and even asked me if I had a jacket when we were leaving for Busch Gardens since the weather was supposed to turn off cool later in the evening. The beds were very comfortable - the bedspreads were heavy enough to keep you warm if you like your room cool. The breakfast was excellent and the food was hot and replenished throughout the time it was available. We did not have a chance to use the pool, but I walked through the area. The water was crystal clear and the room did not have a strong chlorine smell.

If you need a large bathroom, this will not be the place for you. They are small; however, the bathrooms were clean and they more than met our needs. The room we stayed in had a shower with no tub, but that is my preference, so it worked out fine for us.

The gentleman who worked on the day I arrived was super pleasant! He was fast and helped me get my dog all checked in too.

That pet clause was poorly written. Pretty inconsiderate. I’d figure out/work with a lawyer on some better language. It was a turn off. Luckily I’m not sensitive but I had to laugh at the poor writing. The breakfast could have been better as well. I was looking for Turkey sausage but there was only pork. I did like the yogurt and coffee though!

The front desk clerk was one of best I've ever encountered! He made us feel welcome immediately and had such a friendly attitude. I travel often and this guy was exceptional. The room is what you'd expect -- perfectly adequate and comfortable for the price you pay. The location is off a main road, along with a lot of other similar hotels. So, not incredibly charming, but close to downtown Williamsburg (by car). Parking is free, in a lot right next to the hotel. If downtown Williamsburg is all booked up (our visit overlapped with Parents Weekend at William and Mary) and you can't get into a single restaurant (!), there are a lot of options near Sleep Inn.

The most professional staff I've ever encountered at a non-high-end hotel! Super impressed by everyone who served at the front desk and especially the employee, Lanai, who served the breakfast area. She went over and beyond in her assistance and maintained a positive and welcoming attitude. We had an issue or two with our room, but they responded promptly and their overall professionalism made up for any negative issues. Wish all hotel staff was as professional and hospitable as they are!

Couple issues with the room - bit wouldn't sway me from returning or recommending.
