I traveled to Richmond to participate in the marathon. This hotel was close to downtown, but quite affordable. As noted, I thought the room was really quite nice and clean. I slept well before the race. I wanted to especially call out the hotel manager for going above and beyond. I left the hotel early to get to the race start. After the race, I noticed that I had a voicemail from the hotel. Expecting that I had left something behind, instead it was the manager apologizing sincerely that I had checked out and left before the hot breakfast was available. What an incredibly nice gesture! (I generally don't eat much before race.) The voicemail was so kind. I have stayed at many hotels over the years. This simple gesture really stood out to me as showing that the manager really cares for her guests. Thank you.

The room was clean and spacious and all staff were polite. When one learned that my dog and I were in town for the day, he provided two water bottles for us! I'd just refilled my thermos at the water fountain but having extra water was extremely appreciated, as my labrador ended up going through a bottle and a half. Thank you for the thoughtful gesture! Hotel also had a pet waste bin with doggie bags stationed out front on a grass patch, which was very useful.

Minor inconveniences which I do understand and in no way blame the staff for: - Breakfast hours ended early enough in the morning (9:30) that I had to set an early alarm to make sure I was able to eat. Especially rough when I'd already woken up at 4:30 (dog) and spent an hour trying to get back to sleep. - Room provided a menu of restaurant and delivery options in the area which ended up significantly out of date. I tried three or four numbers and none of them worked. - Building shows its age, and isn't in the best location to walk a dog. Still great for a short stay!

I loved that they were clean, had a good breakfast selection, and they are pet friendly ! The staff was also very kind... Definitely going back for our next family meet up.. Also their prices are extremely reasonable pricing and the pet fee was only $30. The hotels I was inquiring about prior to booking this stay was trying to charge me $75 for a 3 lb pup which I think is a bit much.

The room doors slammed behind you if you didn't hold them and gently shut the door. I felt bad for my neighbors because my kids kept forgetting and it would slam.

The staff were very professional and kind. They were smiling and welcoming. The room and public areas were extra clean. There were plenty of toiletries and towels for 4 adults. The kitchen area was clean but we ate at a restaurant so we didn’t utilize the kitchen except the refrigerator which was very clean and cold. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. Rates were reasonable. I give this location every star available. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay.

Ryan at the front desk went the extra mile without hesitation. When someone on another level was holding up the elevator he swiftly ran upstairs to assist. He was very pleasant and so helpful. He’s practically running the hotel himself. I sure hope BW appreciates Ryan for his exceptional customer service as much as we do.

Our bedroom smelled a little smokey. Besides that the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable.

Clean, great breakfast options, friendly staff. Had no issues at all with my stay and it was quiet and pleasant. My son used the pull out sofa and was very happy with its comfort as well. We did have to ask for sheets for that as they were not provided in the room. I will definitely stay here again.

Lack of parking spaces available at night and location is slightly awkward to get to. Bathroom could use an update in comparison to the rest of the room. AC unit worked great but was confusing to operate.

It was a great hotel. Very comfortable, quiet and the people were nice. Unfortunately, since I booked through you, I was not able to use my rewards program to get benefits. I had to pay for my dog, which I knew, but I thought I would get a discount for being a rewards member, but I did not again, because I used you.

The hotel is affordable and clean. Well lit parking lot, relaxing music playing on speakers at the entrance, room in good condition, lots of lamps in room and an overhead light! I also liked that there were two nice garbage cans in the hallway on my floor. Short drive to grocery store and chick fil a.

Tv was difficult to figure out how to use.

I was sooo happy to see they supplied regular waffle batter , instead of that awful brown or wheat flour batter other hotels serve. If im indulging on a waffle i want a real old fash waffle, thank you again i would definitely stay here again.
