The location was quiet and close to Colonial Williamsburg, and the reception staff were pleasant and welcoming. The AC in the room was good. The balcony was well furnished, with a good view of the lake. The swimming pool and fitness centre were clean and tidy, with plenty of towels etc., and helpful and welcoming staff. Plenty of parking close to the room. Easy checkout.

Signage for the reception area was poor on-site, and the pre-visit information never explained that check-in was actually at the Williamsburg Inn. We had a very pleasant stay, but felt that there was a lack of detailed information about the site both in the literature we received from Booking.com and in the room. It would have been good to have had some information about local restaurants/coffee houses.

Convenient to Williamsburg

It’s as clean as it can be, but the rooms really need a refresh. The sofas and chairs in the room had to be 20+ years old and smelled musty. The needs were fine. It was a rainy weekend so we had to spend more time than usual in the room, so we felt the age of the place more than we otherwise would have.

LOVED the room and the beautiful view. We had the pleasure of meeting the lovely lady that took care of cleaning our room. She was so sweet! The staff at the office was friendly and welcoming. Our entire stay was wonderful!

Everything was great! There were a bunch of lady bugs in our room, but we get those at our house too so they're understandable. They enjoyed the room as well!

Pretty much everything

The spiders and lizards.. but it’s secluded near ponds, pools, and farms. Found out too late in the night that there was a refrigerator in the room, yet no microwave. A microwave is available for guests during day the hours.. so with a late check-in at 5pm instead of the 4pm.. and not knowing a request for a microwave was needed.. we ate out and then around 1am wanted to eat again but realized we couldn’t even heat up our food. Nearly $200 in food purchased ruined. This would have been great information to receive at check-in but not after the fact when “maintenance is unavailable to bring you one until the morning”, as said by concierge.

Loved the location and ambience. Very quiet. Is right in the colonial Williamsburg so you could walk everywhere. Concierge staff were incredibly helpful.

The 4pm check in is not great after a long time traveling to get there. We ended up getting the room at 3pm after walking around and lunch.

I loved the location of the Hotel and how friendly the staff was. They were wonderful. The room was super clean and they had good Tv channel selection.

I didn't like that they made the pool so complicated to get into. they had several entrances to the pool closed off and no signs to explain where to go.

Nestled in trees and beautiful stubs. Crepe Mrytle trees were blooming and gorgeous. There were beautiful horses nearby and paths to take you a variety of places. Parking was easy snd close to building Building was secured Rooms clean and spacious. Refrigerator clean and working Fair about of hangers for your clothes Staff exceptionally professional and friendly I highly recommend this facility

A mysterious travel 200-300 years back in time. Awesome park, 100% historic details. While museums say "don't touch" this hotel literally allows you to lay down on stuff that feels 200 years old. Awesome staff, delicious food, walking distance from the Colonial downtown. Recommend!

Not many street lights make it dark at night. Plus, a bit weird check-in (via another hotel).

The bed was comfortable. Location was good.

The room was musky smelling. Peeling paint. Really old looking. Surprised since this is affiliated with Colonial Williamsburg.

Perfect location! The service was top notch, the front desk clerks made us feel very welcome and expected. They really do treat you like a special guest and this type of customer service is hard to come by these days. So refreshing

The couch at the Griffin where we stayed was grimey and really unfortunate since the hotel was very clean everywhere else.
