We were there the weekend of the worldwide cyber problem. 'the computer system was down and the staff could not make room cards. Every time someone checked in, or returned to their room the staff had to walk them to their room to let them in. The staff did this with complaining and kept a positive attitude about the situation. They never made us feel as if we were an inconvenience to them. The breakfast was good.

Although the system problem occurred (which was not their fault), we spent a lot of time at their sister hotel, the Doubletree. The Doubletree was able to make room cards for their guest, which made us feel that Hampton Inn's computer system may be outdated.

Quick, easy check-in, courteous staff, nice room, and good breakfast. Great location for Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, etcetera. The hotel felt safe and comfortable.

Hotel guests should be advised to dry off from the swimming pool BEFORE they get into the elevators. Every day the elevator floor was soaking wet from inconsiderate guests. Hotel signage would be appreciated.

The shower head was not pushing out water hard and the hot water heater must have issues because it was very hard to get any hot water. Huge disappointment on the second level. My last visit a year ago was much different with excellent shower pressure and enough hot water. My bathroom also had a loose tile that was dangerous, but I placed a towel over it to prevent any injuries.

Great location to Historic Williamsburg less than 10 minutes. Room was very large there was 3 adults and we had plenty of room, selected 2 queen. The hotel and room both very clean, never seen any trash over flow even during breakfast. Breakfast bar had eggs, a different meat each day, potato, fruit, cereal, make your own waffles. Everything was replenished quickly. Beds were very comfortable. Neither had that sinking in the middle, firm enough for a great nights sleep!

Plugs between beds very used. Wouldn't hold phone charger in tight.

The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and kind. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was convenient, and the location worked great for our weekend plans. We slept comfortably on the beds. We loved the fact that the soap and lotion that they provided was in refillable container, rather than one-use packaging. More hotels should do this. We also loved the fact that there was always coffee and hot water in the lobby - thank you!

The breakfast area got a bit messy, but this was more due to messy guests than incompetent staff. This is the issue with most hotels, but the luggage carts are flimsy and difficult to steer.

Great customer service, the guests in the room next to ours were very noisy - playing loud music and talking loudly. We asked for a new room and we’re immediately offered a room two floors hire and on the other end of the building.

Bathroom corners looked very dingy.

Breakfast and the room were wonderful!

I hated that it took me over an hour to check in the facility. I had prepaid for the stay and I had a reservation on my phone with some strange number and they had my money under a different name and number. It was hell! I would not leave the front desk until this was straightened out. The manager finally came out and found the issue on the computer. This was the fault of Booking.com.

Spacious room! Amazing continental breakfast! Super friendly and helpful staff. 10 mins to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA=) And even closer to Colonial Williamsburg!

They do not accept cards to pay for items from the hotel, we had no cash. Told to go to Exxon across the street for ATM. They were closed! Had to drive 2 miles to get to ATM. My son had horrible heartburn and had to wait an extra 30+ mins to get relief=( Also, have to request clean towels and sheets. Not just given now.

Excellent breakfast and great location. Food was good, hot, and well stocked. Easy location to get to. Close to all major attractions.

The only thing my family wasn’t happy about was the firm mattresses.
