The room and bed were very comfortable. We had a view of the river which was enjoyable.. Free daily breakfast was a nice surprise. Free coffee at the check in counter was also a nice surprise. AND they had Decaf as well as regular available. That almost never happens. The water temp and pressure were very good in the shower.

The shower enclosure was outdated, with soap trays puttied onto the side. I know the hotel is remodeling part of the rooms right now. So that should be solving that problem in the future. I hope they install grab bars for us Seniors. The population is aging.

We've stayed here before and really enjoyed it. The property is right on the Columbia River with some great views. It's on a little peninsula/island with a brew pub and fine dining restuarant within walking distance. Whether you're in Richland or Kennewick, it's easy access to both cities and freeways. The breakfast is excellent -- more of a breakfast buffet. We had the view of the Coast Guard station (and not the river view), but you can easily go on the large deck and pool area to watch the sunset and river.

Looks like they're renovating and updating the hotel, and the other wing on our floor was closed for renovations. My only complaint was that there was an extremely strong smell of fresh paint and paint thinner that we had to cover our breathing in the hallway. I put a towel at the foot of the door to keep the smell out and kept the fan on all night to create a positive air space. But hey, what can you do when they're doing their best to update the place?

This was a very nice clean older not fancy but comfortable room. It was in a very nice location and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. It was very affordable, and the free breakfast was the best breakfast I had through my eight day trip. The eggs were fluffy and fresh, and warm.The sausage was good(could have been a little more browned) but not dried up. Milk was ice cold and plenty.. I give it a 10 for a buffet style motel free breakfast .

Not that I didn't like the place but could update the room furniture. But again for the price l was very satisfied and would rent from you again.

Check in was easy. While it is clear that there is renovation going on, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and lounging by the pool overlooking the river watching the sunset at the end of a long driving day - it was a highlight of my trip. I wasn't sure what to expect, and it turned out to be great and I would go back again for sure. There is a restaurant across the street with a happy hour deal of two tacos and a beer for $7. I would stay here again for sure. If it's not so crazy hot outside, maybe I'll borrow one of the hotel bikes to ride down the river trail.

Duct tape on carpet between bathroom and room wasn't ideal.

The room was a river view and that was great! The room was small but comfortable, but was suppose to be a Queen Bed and I think it was a double. Room had a small fridge and a microwave. Location of this hotel is perfect, walking trails, view of the beautiful river and bridge. Breakfast wasn't so good, powdered eggs, cold sausage, and not so good fruit. But they had coffee, cereal and bagel's/toast. We only did the breakfast one day out of three, but we did get coffee each day.

Room only had one of those Keurig coffee makers, which always irritates me, because the coffee isn't any good made in one of those things. Prefer to have a regular coffee maker and make my own... oh well.

I’ve stayed at the Clover Island and before and I’ve always enjoyed it. Staff has always been courteous and helpful. Price is good. It’s clean and safe.

As I stated before, normally a great value for this property but renovations were being done and the restaurant, pool and hot tub area were closed. This information was not posted when I made reservations. After a long day, I was really looking forward to going directly to the Hotel and grabbing a bite to eat at the restaurant and then using the hot tub. Not a huge deal, but I was a little disappointed. Other than that as usual, a great stay.

I had total knee surgery on Tuesday we didn't want to drive at dark for surgery so we came spent the night prior. The staff were amazing, when they found ou I was having surgery they thought I might need it after surgery. I asked if room world br available after surgery they said yesterday in case my husband couldn't sleep at the hospital. Wish I could of enjoyed your wonderful breakfast but no food or drink that morning.

The heat was hard to get set at a constant temperature it either got to hot or to cold

Very scenic and interesting small island location on the Columbia River. Our fourth floor renovated room had a beautiful view of the river and the spectacular Suspension Bridge. Watching the many migrating birds was a special treat. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. There was some bridge and train noise and an ocasional large boat horn at night, but we had the window wide open. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great comfortable room in a spectacular place. Why stay near a highway when you can stay in a walk-able place with beautiful sunsets. The hotel has all you need. The breakfast was great with lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The island makes staying here a pleasure. We strolled around the island enjoying the birds, bridge views and a gorgeous sunset.

Our room was a little crowded with a desk we didn't need, but it did not affect our short stay. If we had wanted to do some work, it would have been ideal.

Dana at the desk was wonderful! She was pleasant, sweet, helpful and professional. Room was comfortable and very quiet. We felt very safe with the plethora of Police Officers staying there on a course, LOL. (As a retired LEO boss, watching the young lads training provided great entertainment!) Website didn't indicate that breakfast was provided, but it was, a very happy surprise! The young lady managing the breakfast was equally nice, responsive, and professional. Area around hotel was great for an evening walk.

While 'most everything was clean, the odd corner had a cobweb or two. Property is a bit out of the way with limited dining options nearby (Only two restaurants on the island)
