The pillows were hands down the best pillows from a motel EVER! The bed was absolutely wonderful. It was very clean, the only thing that I would say is - there was a dead spider and some cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom but otherwise-AMAZING!

Again, the only thing "negative" I can say is the cobwebs and dead spider on the ceiling in the bathroom. I would also suggest maybe having some 2% milk with your continental breakfast - I am diabetic and cannot drink whole milk - I know it's not all about me but I do know quite a lot of people that do not drink whole milk.

I LOVE the heavy duty digital locks!! There was a severe wind storm while I was there but the locks worked just fine!! No need to worry about losing your key or it getting demagnetized. The location was close to my workplace and the family staff was very helpful and friendly!

Nothing to do with the hotel itself, per se. There were a lot of construction guys that liked to smoke and would do it right outside the rooms where the intake was for the heat/air conditioning. Other than that, no concerns!

Sweet motel, great location for walking to the historic main street, coffee shops, and dinner. Some reviewers complain that it's outdated, but everything was super clean, and in working order. Plus, the things that matter are updated, like combo USB/outlet charging on both bedside tables, comfy mattress. Appreciated the bigger fridge, microwave, and good coffee in-room. And, when you're on a long road trip, with lots of personal things stored in the car, the parking right outside the room is great, especially since it looks like management lives over the driveway entry. (No sketchy scene like is common with more affordable motels.)

I stayed at this motel/hotel for two nights in two different rooms. This was the single room on the second night. Everything in this room was excellent and the staff were very helpful in locating places around town.

It does not have an elevator but the stairs were not too steep. The other issue is off street parking which was limited and if you drove in late you would have to park on the street.

Very clean and comfortable. Central location, in walking distance of restaurants and shops.

There was a persistent, strong smell of some kind of cleaner/disinfectant; it did not go away even after keeping the window open for 8 hours. You get used to it after a few minutes and don't smell it anymore, but I wish it wasn't there in the first place.

They did a very nice job updating this older hotel. It was an incredible bargain. They had very clear instructions at the hotel about the room and amenities such as getting ice.

Having to check in by 9pm was inconvenient. I was called by someone from the hotel when I hadn’t checked in by 8:15 and was subsequently chastised for having forgotten about the 9pm time frame, even though I told the person we would get there by 9, and arrived with 15-20 min to spare. A different person was behind the desk when we arrived and was quite pleasant and we had no further problem.

Great stay at this hotel for WSU orientation. Urban park trails very near to walk the dog, very close to lots of eateries, and a little longer walk to WSU, but easily doable. Our room was very clean, and I liked the mini fridge with a true freezer. It was remarkably quiet, considering it was full the 2nd night we were there. Great stay, we definitely plan to try to stay here again when visiting our student at WSU.

the carpet and tile are a bit dated, but it didn't affect our stay. It was fantastic for the price point.

How fast and responsive the staff was. It’s a great little family owned place. The late check in was fantastic. Very easy to just punch in the code for the lock box and go in. I could just lay down after 7.5 hours of driving. Versus going in the lobby to handle things.. will be great for anyone going straight to the Cougs game and check in after.

There was a few bumps in my stay. The owners were fantastic, responsive and the customer service was great. They were on top of things for me and definitely fixed the situation.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room layout great. Very enjoyable space.

The bedspread was visibly dirty when drawn back. The beding was very dated and not comfortable to sleep under. Needs updated bedding.

Convenient downtown location. We appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave. Pet friendly. Additional parking lot at ground level on Floor 3 was wonderful! Quiet enough room where we were.

It would be nice if the pool was restored and usable … or at least filled in and used as an outdoor patio. We knew there was no breakfast available during our stay so we brought our own Keurig and coffee pods and that was better than what was in the room.
