This is a Japanese-influenced hotel in downtown Seattle. It only takes $3 to get there on the light rail from the airport. Rooms are reasonably large and very comfortable, with a Japanese-style toilet seat. Our top-floor room had a nice view to the bay. The best feature, however, is the "executive lounge", where you can have a free hot breakfast buffet in the morning and you can also find free coffee/tea/cold drinks 24/7, $5 alcoholic drinks during Happy Hour, and some pretty good snacks or fruit during most other hours of the day.

The A/C was quite noisy. We set it at a higher temperature so it did not run very frequently, but when it did run intermittently, it was loud enough to wake me up. One night we tried opening windows instead, but as some reviewers noted, even in our high floor level there was a loud hum coming from outside - probably from all the other A/C units in the building. You do get to hear the gulls in the morning though.

The room was large with one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. Staff was super friendly and accommodating when we needed something printed. The location was fantastic. Less than a ten minute walk to Pike Place Market, and easy access to bus stops nearby to get around. Tons of restaurants and the Museum of Illusions right around the corner, too!

The rooms don't have microwaves, which would have been nice. If you request one at the front desk, they can bring one up to your room, but when we asked for one the person who had access to the microwaves wasn't there. Luckily the staff was kind enough to warm our leftover pizza up for us in the lobby.

I liked that the location was easy walking distance to the convention center, Amtrak station, and Pikes Place Market. I liked my room, bedding, pillows, and room amenities.

Wish I could have turned the air conditioner down a bit more, but it was still pleasant enough. The tunnel that leads to the Convention Center/ Union Square needs more signs to help navigate/provide directions. I got lost a few times, but still appreciated it being available. Lastly, I did not upgrade to the executive level rooms for free breakfast or ate at the restaurant because of the lack of vegan options. But there were plenty of food options around the area so it wasn’t a problem.

The staff were universally friendly and helpful. They seemed to really want to be sure they had accommodated my needs as a scent sensitive person, and they did an excellent job with that. The decor was exactly the kind of minimal, a kind of Japanese modern, thot felt soothing and cozy in its simplicity as opposed to sterile like some minimalist designs. They had real 1/2&1/2 for coffee, effective black out blinds, a very comfy bed and pillows.

The street entrance, from the garage, felt like you were coming into a nice hotel through the basement. The restaurant and lounge area was cozy, but had no windows, so it felt a bit cave like. Still, the beautiful view from my 29th floor room more than made up for it.

Staff were very friendly . My husband and I stayed here for 1 night before our Alaska cruise to celebrate our 60th birthday. They provided us with a wonderful room and Keyry had a lovely surprise birthday card with chocolate on the bed for us. The location is perfect as we walked to Pikes Market and shopping nearby. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends as well. Room was clean, and the breakfast and beverages in the lounge were delicious.

Everything was great - check-in, the room, proximity to tmobile park, food choices, we felt safe the entire stay. The staff was lovely, not just to patrons, but also to the deli owner/staff by the garage. Everything was clean & snack and drink options were plentiful.

Waited almost ten minutes for the elevator, ended up taking the fire escape just to get to the lobby to check out, that was a bummer when we just wanted to get home.

Incredible customer service, we were accommodated for an early check-in after disembarking from an Alaska cruise. The room was spacious, extremely clean, comfortable bed and with all amenities to make an exceptional stay. The location was perfect - walking distance to the cruise port, piers and the Pike Place Market. The restaurant in the hotel served a great breakfast.

The shower water pressure could be a little stronger. The A/C was a little loud but not uncomfortable or disturbed our sleep at night.
